Recently I had problems cashing in my Von's rewards. The pump will only let me put in about six dollars worth because the new settings sense air in the tank and it shuts off . Then you have to get staff help and it's a real pain. It's happening to too many customers.

I was happy it was open late and that it's was local. I do wish there was a little more organization to the placement of everything because it took walking down every aisle 3 times and asking two people before I finally found the cookie dough! I paid at the self check out and later had a mini heart attack because the transaction came under Starbucks not Vons. The ambience was fine but be aware that if you go late, they're always restocking so therefore there's always a lot of maneuvering around a lot of boxes and employees.

I have shopped at this Vons in La Verne for over 10 years. I shop here for items I want a good quality on such as meats and produce or their deli/bakery. I don't do all my shopping here because of their prices. Normally their service is good. However today I came in and the employee doing online shopping orders was not patient and couldn't wait for me to turn the corner of the isle which caused me to hit the stacked cases of soda and at the same time ran his large cart into my arm. Not an "I am sorry" or anything. When I went to check out the checker said a half hearted sorry, I don't think he knew how to deal with it, and then said we won't file anything because no one is hurt. He did say he would talk to both of his shoppers. I am home now and my arm is bruised. I am definitely mad that this happened by an employee and I expected a better response from the store. Customer care isn't what it use to be even at the high end stores. I spent over $200 and I won't be back any time soon.

Chocolate fudge 1 and 2 layer cakes used to be delicious, using high quality frosting. Same with the chocolate eclairs. The cream puffs don't contain any cream, and should therefore be renamed to dessert puffs or non-dairy puffs. Too bad.

These 5 stars are for Sheila with the .com business at the La Verne, CA location! She was friendly and very helpful. I felt heard and she helped me with a correction on my online order. There aren't very many Vons stores in the area and I came here for the first time and it was good. Lots of open checkouts during a busy day a couple of days before Christmas so the line moved quickly at the self-checkout since they have a lot of them. Usually, other Vons stores have no self-checkouts and only have a few cashier lanes open so the lines are long. The items were well-stocked as well.

This is for the Starbucks inside Vons. They have an girl with orange hair working the register and saying machines are broken when they are not. Very rude attitude as well! They need to address this asap. No wonder no one goes to that Starbucks anymore. Never a line...most associates there are pleasant, but my order today was such an inconvenience for their associate.

Play encourage you to use self check out but there's never any bags. Then when you try to use a regular line there's not enough checkers. Poor management if you're going to have self checkouts have bags available we shouldn't have to ask for them and scan our own product

I'm giving this Vons 5 stars just because the top notch customer service Ciera gives my girlfriend and I. Ciera is all ways helpful kind she is the reason why we shop at this Vons all of the surrounding Vons it seems like everyone has an attitude. If you want to feel like your family go to the La Vern Vons and ask for Ciera! Thanks Ciera for making us feel like family!
