God mealworms superworms and always have crickets and superworms but don't buy the dubia roaches are mostly dead. And worms in freezer r dead and or not in stock. But over all Petco is amazing love them

Tried to go here to have two dogs groomed. Their online appointment system makes it very difficult to book two dogs at the same time, so I booked them a couple hours apart. I was called later and asked if I could bring them in at the same time a day earlier, which I thought was great. Unbeknownst to me, this scheduler also increased the price by 21% versus what I had booked, sight unseen, and without explanation. When I arrived, after driving 50 minutes through blowing sand in rush-hour traffic, I was around 10 minutes late. I was informed that because I was SOOOOOOOO late, they could only do one dog, and I'd have to reschedule the other. I didn't catch the name of the employee, but she represented herself as the lead groomer. In any case, I decided to take my business elsewhere. It was already scheisty that she jacked up the price, but then to make me come back over 10 minutes was just too much. Acted like she was doing me a favor, as opposed to doing her job.

Arrived at the store at 7:40 couldn't find anyone to help me with anything so I finally went to the cashier to ask if someone could assist me with getting some feeder fish they said sorry we can't do it after 730. When I asked why the response was that we are short staffed. He could've easily just said we're lazy which is actually the real reason because it doesn't take much effort to scoop 2 or 3 fish. Just tired of poor customer service.

Anaibeth was rude and not helpful at all. Please hire better cashiers and staff at this store! Next time I'll just take the drive to the Palm Springs store.

My family and I have been frequenting PETSMART for over 20 years, and We have recently started going to Petco as well. We have found that we can find more items and merchandise at Petco then we can at Petsmart. The staff here at Petco are extremely helpful and very courteous when needing assistance. Not to mention the grooming for my dogs has been a pleasant experience. They are very thorough and my dogs come out looking great and smelling great. We will be going back more.

Celeste is THEE WORST employee ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked into this Petco to purchase crickets for my son's white tree frogs. As she passed me I asked if she worked there, she looked at me at said she would help me in a moment ( she was looking for something for a customer on the phone) so I patiently waited and followed her, after about 5 mins of waiting she was off the phone and immediately jumped on a cash register (there was already an other employee at the register serving a line of 3 customers) when I asked if I could get some crickets she said she was understaffed and "couldn't help me" yet clearly she could and was choosing not to. The other employee at the register actually jumped off his register (once he heard about what was happening) to get me the darn crickets. I will never spend my hard earned money at this corporation again. PETSMART is better than petco in every imaginable way possible.

We order dog food monthly from Petco. Sometimes the local store does the fulfillment. This time they used Door Dash for the delivery. Petco says the order was delivered but there's it wasn't. Door Dash says the package as left at the front gate. It wasn't. Called the store and the "customer service" person said my problem was with Door Dash. And, if I couldn't resolve it with them, I had to come down and pay for another order. First of all, I ordered from Petco...not Door Dash. Second of all, Petco subcontracted delivery of this order with Door Dash...I didn't. This isn't the first time this has happened with this store. I'd be careful if you order something and actually expect it to be delivered. And if it's not delivered, it's your problem to resolve. Horrible "customer service".

Went in on Wednesday, saw a particular fish I wanted. Asked for assistance, the clerk associate then advised me they may not be selling fish as they have ich disease. The manager then came over and asked what fish I wanted, and then told me the same thing. This particular fish wasn't showing any signs of ich. So I told her I would treat the fish myself, and she said no sale. I also pointed out there were several.dead fish in their display and that probably didn't help, and they should be removed. No signage or quarrantine was posted on any of the tanks, or in the department. I asked when they would be for sale again, she replied maybe in a few days. Well, I went in on Saturday afternoon and looked at the tanks, the particular fish was no longer in their display. She and her associate were working in the tanks and said hello to me as I walked around the display. Once again she told me they were not selling fish. Again still NO sign. Seems there's more than an ich problem here, and they can't put up a single sign to show how poor of a store they are for fish. The only reason I go there is it's near my house, and I'm driving by. I feel bad for their livestock as they often dont maintain their systems, mismanage and abuse their livestock and I'll rescue particular fish of interest. Definitely a buyer beware notice, they are a low budget poorly managed store. I prefer Pets mart as their collection is more broad and their staff cares for their livestock and is definitely more friendly.

Please don't buy pets at this location they sell their reptiles too infant and sick. Two pets we purchased here have died.

Some poor reviews on this site about the Laquinta grooming location . I had the opportunity to visit this salon several times prior to booking any appointments. I met Sarah and Sireli and both seemed very nice. I spoke to them about my dogs and my expectations. I proceeded to book all four of my dogs over the course of the next several weeks, and booked the biggest and most difficult to handle one first. He came out handsome, stress free and everything was done to my expectations. His nails were the most difficult thing, and he has actually attempted to bite several groomers in the past- of course I cautioned them of this . His nails were trimmed well, properly and he is not licking them ( thank you!) Three more to go, but judging how Sireli handled my big and difficult boy, I expect more great results -

Nice store, clean and organized with a polite staff. Very helpful. Reptiles are rarely in stock, which is a bummer.

Terrible service! Only 2 people working. I went up to the cashier for someone to help me with fish. When the girl came she refused to acknowledge me or that I was the person who called for help. Walked out with nothing. Thanks for the help!

No returns allowed?? Store sign says because of Covid restrictions, however, Target & Macy's are accepting returns........won't be shopping here again
