IT IS SO HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL .I REQUIRED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND AFTER WAITING MORE THAN 10 MINUTES THE CLERK CAME BACK ASKING FOR MY PHONE NUMBER AND OTHER INFORMATION .I REFUSED TO GIVE OUT MY INFO WITHOUT TALKING TO THE MANAGER AND CAME BACK AGAIN WITHIN2 DAY SAME THING WAITING 20 MINUTES SO I LEFT VERY DISSAPOINTED. I AM LOSING MY MAIL MY CUPONS AND EVERTHING. SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP IN AND INVESTIGATE WHAT IS GOING ON ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS IS FEDERAL PEOPLE.

Everytime I try and call this office, a recording says the call cannot be answered. No opportunity to be placed on hold and no opportunity to leave message. This is constantly.

Had one of the most egregious customer service experiences perhaps ever at this USPS location at 79125 Corporate Center Drive in La Quinta today, 9-11-2023. Went to collect our mail, check our P.O. Box and received at certified mail slip that we were expecting. Went around the corner to the other door to ring the bell and collect our certified mail. Attendant tried to locate and couldn't find. Had assistance from another employee as well. This employee said that this was Dora's responsibility and that she had scanned it and went to lunch. Ok. Most odd, but I waited as other customers came in to collect their certified mail. So I waited, and waited. Asked to see a manager, but no manager ever came back to discuss what was happening. Finally, another employee said that Dora was back from lunch and that they're trying to figure out what had happened. Few more minutes went by then our certified letter appeared. 11:30-12:13. Check your cameras Post Master if you think this is fallacious in any way. As I was signing for the mail, I inquired to the employee that was helping me, and I quote... "What happened? Did Dora take our certified mail with her to lunch? The employee replied, yes, and she took a long lunch too then laughed." Can't make this s..t up. Supervisor/Manager/Post Master at this location. (Look at your cameras) Please investigate this situation that happened today, that an employee doesn't take any mail with them on lunch breaks, etc... Was a Keystone Cop moment for sure for this USPS location. This same location also rejected/return to sender the same certified letter the week of 8-25-2023. Have all the proof if manager wants to verify.

Great customer Service from La Quinta post office staff. Cynthia was so helpful on todays visit, great service on all of our daily visits by all the staff.

I live in indio but this post office delivers my mail. I went all the way to them to show them how I received a package all squished up. I was referred to back office to speak to a supervisor. Waited a bit and a man came out who said it’s a claims issue and I needed a supervisor. Comes out again and says it’s a 40 mins wait and asked if I mind waiting. Yes I mind- Wth. I obviously couldn’t wait and was t going to so I left my number for someone to call me. It’s been a week and no one has attempted to call me. I don’t care if it is Xmas season… my gift for my son was ruined and I can’t do anything until I speak to a supervisor so someone should be avail. No wonder this place has such horrible reviews… I Interacted with 2 employees that day and not one even apologized on behalf of PO or was empathetic towards the fact my stuff was ruined. These people don’t care… the United States post office doesn’t care.

Front desk is very fast, efficient and very friendly. When ever there is a line it’s very fast. When I use the drop box, it’s rare stuck and if it gets stuck, the employees hear it and right away they make it work. My favorite post office

The place needs a face-lift, the automatic door was broken and hard to I open not good for handicap people, nasty looking you would think with all the money the government gets they should be able to fix it up, put a fresh coat of paint on the sign and hire a gardener.

Horribly rude staff. Weird clunky process. Booked an appointment weeks in advance for a passport renewal. When I get there I didn’t need an appointment at all! When I was asking questions about why they require appointments if they aren’t necessary. The person helping me just kept saying, “idk,” “well did you read the application.”(that was sent to me the night before my appointment) Then said something about needing an appointment because I have to take a picture but when I told him their machine was down. He just responded, “yea for now.” ??? Then he accused me of having an attitude and being, “offended.” Whatever that means. I was frustrated about the experience of course, but I was perfectly polite with him just trying to figure out what happened. It went on and on from there, but all in all, if you can avoid this place I would. TLDR; incompetent and rude staff that are completely unfamiliar with the passport renewal process.

I do not like usps..for the simple I've had packages at two different dates and times..and no one can tell me way..they say we apologize for the inconvenience..however my package still are stuck..right now I have a package in LA Quinta CA..and has been since the 18th of January..the package has not moved..the other was a while back..it was stuck in Colorado..so now I think the post office is not doing a good job at getting people letters..packages...half the I time I get my neighbors mail..

we were lucky enough to have ruthy as our letter carrier for the past decade. she has retired and on the personal days she took off we had spotty service. we are hoping that our new letter carrier will be half as good as she was, and half as pleasant. we all will miss her personality and wonderful service.
