So unwelcoming, mean girls work here so beware. I payed with a $100 bill and the cashier gave me my change without counting it infront of me. I asked her what was the change and she said $84.76 and put it in the bag. I got to my car and counted the money, she gave me 10 cents more so I’m not mad. She wanted to be sarcastic and rush me out so ??♀️

Went in to get a full bleach to go to a lighter brown, she ended up giving me weird highlights and I was too shy to say anything about it because im not confrontational. Keep in mind, a FULL BLEACH and was charged $300 for awful highlights. I literally want a refund i cried.

I had to do a return here. I went to the Ulta in Indio a day before and had a very negative experience. Their employees were very rude in Indio. From now on, I will only visit this La Quinta location. Very polite employees.

My wife went to the salon in La Quinta. She asked that the back of her hair be trimmed up. She has short hair. Right away the stylist seemed very worried. She barely cut anything and then my wife asked if she was comfortable cutting short hair and she admitted that she was not. So my wife just said ok. We were there a total of maybe 10 mins. When we went to pay for the trim the stylist had the nerve to charge us for a full haircut. If you want any type of style and you have anything but medium length to long I would not go see Victoria. Seems like a nice young girl. But if you can’t cut short hair just be honest from the get and if you are going to barely cut any hair then don’t charge for a full haircut. Very disappointing. I feel like we were totally ripped off.

Yesterday, I visited the La Quinta store with my granddaughter to buy her first facial products as she's getting older and starting a skincare routine. We were incredibly fortunate to have Judy assist us. Her dedication and the special way she makes customers feel listened to and supported went above and beyond our expectations. Every store should have a Judy. Please make Judy the president!!

I love the staff here, a very nice older lady helped us and found me a great deal on product! I like this store more than the Sephora off el paseo.

I have been going to Talia for years and called her several times for an appointment and she never returned my call. Then I finally called the salon directly to make an appointment and she canceled 2 days prior. Very unprofessional and rude. I now go to Alankara Aveda in Old Town La Quinta and love it. Abby is great. Highly recommend.

This review is for the salon and in particular Talia who works there. I debated for a long time about posting a bad review but I am so sadly disappointed in the unprofessional way I was treated. I've been going for years and although they're quite expensive for Ulta, I liked the girl (Talia) coloring my hair. But when trying to make an appointment she ignored my phone calls for weeks and when I finally did get an appointment after waiting well over a month, she had the salon call me to cancel 2 days before. To this day, I do not know why she didn't want to do my hair because I was nothing but kind and generous to her even at times where I wasn't completely satisfied. I have a lot of hair and maybe it was just too much work. I don't know. But that's the problem. I beat myself up wondering if I didn't tip enough or if I inadvertently said something that she didn't care for but I always felt we had a very good relationship. She needs to learn how to conduct herself in a professional manner and simply speak to people when she has a problem instead of stringing me along for months and then trying to push me off on someone else. I now go to Anakara Aveda in Old Town La Quinta. I go to a lovely girl named Abby and she is very good. They really aren't any more expensive than Ulta but far more professional and a lovely environment. Because of the unprofessional way that Talia treated me, I won't go back into Ulta La Quinta and I used to shop there A LOT.

The lady at the register was extremely bitter. She asked for a rewards number, I gave it, she didn't ask if the name was right, she just asked for my name to make sure l wasn't pretending to be someone else. The whole vibe of that store in this location is uncomfortable. She looked me up and down like I was being judged. I felt horrible. Not to mention, she went on a rant to my mom in front of me, about a rewards card. She said "she" to refer to me about 15 times in a sentence as if I wasn't there. I never want to step foot in that place again. Look at other Ulta locations in the area, don't pick this one. If you're already there just go to the tj maxx next door instead. You ought to be treated more kindly there.

I had to find a colorist to do a color correction after the color I received at Ulta in La Quinta. It took two processes to complete. It was very costly to correct. Also, Yelp removed my updated review. Why?
