I was so disappointed today. We went to Smart and Final and one of the things I bought was Woolite laundry detergent. Apparently the handle had a little residue of soap. When my husband lifted it into our truck, the handle slipped, it hit the ground and the lid cracked. Soap spilled in the parking lot. We picked up the broken bottle and took it back into the store. Told him what happened and he said oh well I'll take that from you. He took it. I went to go get another one and he charged me for the second soap. That's the first time that's ever happened to me at a store I when they haven't made good on an item like that. I told him I wanted my old soap as well. Next time I'll stick to the few things that I can't get anywhere else and make the majority of my purchases at another store. I guess the caution is be careful that there's no residue on any of your items!

The manager is a complete spaz and rude! I was there and they had a power outage and the manager was giving birth to livestock up and down every isle! I'm disabled and was doing a big shop and was almost complete and they kicked people out and closed it. I had to take uber round trip for nothing! It took the Titanic 2 hours to sink but that manager had his ship sink in two seconds! I wasn't asking for free groceries but do you think I could of had an apple for the road?! Won't go back there. I'll stick to food4less.

Just want to share a positive thought .... I come into this store at least once a week as my son does speech therapy right down the street and it's always a pleasant experience. Kat or Kathleen is the cashier I see most frequently and she's always smiling and helpful and we always engage in friendly conversation. My most recent visit was today and honestly I have had quite a day, and not in a good way lol but coming in here put a smile on my face, I appreciate your hard work and friendliness Kat! Keep up the great work!

Great values with a large selection. Our cashier was so nice. It's to bad they make them work directly in front of sliding doors that made them freeze.

Always have to check their ads. Really bummed the store in Palm Desert closed but we now use the La Quinta location. Lots of great deals weekly to make a budget work out.
