Went for an out of state vehicle registration and was shown a printed quote for 2,750 some dollars! I declined to pay. I went to dmv and was asked to pay 380. Was a longer wait time at dmv but saved me thousands of dollars compared to aaa

Scheduled a cruise and my wife and I were very disappointed. Travel agent Mary Brown dropped the ball in several areas. Especially flights to and from home. I won't be traveling with triple A in the future.

AAA claims MANAGER says police report mentioned speeding so they had to raise my rates even though my wife was NOT at fault in a HIT AND RUN accident. I spent 8 hours today calling around getting quotes from other insurance companies and Geico and Progressive both agreed that because the other driver fled the scene that she is not at fault. The police officer should not have mentioned key word "speeding" at all, in the accident report, since the posted speed limit was 45mph and she was doing 45 at most, which was also mentioned in the police report. I believe AAA is scamming people at this point. They owe me back pay for overpaying since August 2023.
I now have insurance from Progressive at $133 per month VS. AAA was billing me at $350 per month after the accident (i unfortunately dont have the original amount they quoted me on the replacement vehicle at the time of purchase but if i remember correctly, it was around $170 before they raised it)

I buy and sell a lot of motorcycles, not as a business, more of an obsession. Anyway I always go to the Auto Club office in La Quinta to register them. Everyone is always extremely helpful, and if you go close to their opening time of 9 am you can usually get in quickly. Last week I wanted to register an out-of-state motorcycle, which means it has to be brought there in person so they can verify the VIN number along with the engine number and frame number. Many, many thanks to Denean Laitinen and Zach who came out in the sun to search the bike for these rather obscure numbers. Zach was very creative with finding and reading the engine number, which was buried under wires and frame arms. They were both super-friendly and helpful and we were all almost enjoying the process. This is a wonderful service and I for one appreciate it, and the staff greatly!

I can't say enough about Zachary Mix and the efficient and effective service he provided in helping me complete transfer of title and registration for a motorcycle my son (an AZ resident) purchased in SoCal. There were complications that arose when I initiated this process at another AAA office two weeks earlier, which had to be suspended after working for over an hour because of their unfamiliarity on how to have a non-CA resident transfer a title in CA. Zach quickly resolved the issue and the title and registration work was completed in 15 minutes. Zach was pleasant, courteous and extremely effective. I wish there were more stars to award Zach for his service. KUDOS to Zach!

If a dog/animal suddenly jumps in front of your car and you injure the animal, they consider it not your fault. But if you try to avoid hitting the animal and damage your vehicle in the procesd,, they consider it at fault accident. So, if you don't want a point on your record, you need to hit/run over the poor creature. Wow, in a way, they are encouraging you to run the animal over with your vehicle. What about a child instead of an animal ?

Very disappointed a 43 year member with no claims and my renewal auto insurance increased by 40%. AAA did not care, claimed it was a Calif issue. I was the wrong market to lose. Will never go back.

BEWARE AAA members‼ We incurred a flat tire returning from LA on the 91 East freeway. We are 12 year gold club plus members of AAA and called them for assistance. They dispatched a tow truck from Angelo's towing and recovery in Riverside. When the tow truck driver arrived he informed us that they do not do roadside tire repair and that he would have to tow our vechile back to La Quinta, a 91 mile trip/thousand dollar trip! As the driver lifted our car on the flatbed we heard a crunch and realized the lift was set too steep which caused damage to the front of our vehicle. When we arrived home we showed the driver the damage that had resulted!We then contacted AAA and were told by a woman, who was very rude and abrupt, that AAA is not responsible for any damage caused by their contractors! She further stated that we would have to be reimbursed directly from the towing company. AAA told me that I would have to call directly to Angelo's towing and recovery in Riverside and AAA would accept no responsibility for my reimbursement. After a week of placing numerous calls to Angelo's towing and recovery with no response, I again talked to the woman from AAA who again was very short and abrupt! She informed me my only recourse for the damage caused by their AAA towing contractor was to sue Angelo's towing in small claims court or file a claim with our personal car insurance! So beware...when you use AAA they take no responsibility for damage caused by their contractors... you are the individual responsible for any damage incurred! UBELIEVEABLE‼

AAA left a 58 year old woman stranded!!! I called AAA and specifically and clearly told them someone stole two of my tires and all of my lugnuts so I need a tow to the tire store. Palms to Pines Towing Company was dispatched and arrived with a flat bed tow and informs me “This car is missing tires and lugnuts!” The tow driver states he can’t tow a car without tires. He then tells me I need to go get some tires by calling Uber to get to the tire store. He promises me if I bring back the tires and lugnuts he will put the tires and lugnuts on the car for me. Fortunately the hotel where I was staying was amazing! The Bellman took me to the tire store in his personal vehicle. I call AAA again and explain what the tow driver says. AAA sends a different tow driver from Palms to Pines Towing with a pick up truck who says “I can’t put the tires on.” “Why?!?” He says, “Well when they took the tires off they didn’t consider the balance of the vehicle.” Hmmm, do you think thieves were concerned about the car??? I explained to him that I was promised if I returned with tires and lugnuts, this company would put all of the the tires back on. Tow driver said he didn't have the correct equipment. (Mind you it was raining so I believe that was the issue). He tells me, “Please call AAA back and ask them to bring a truck that will lift the car better than a jack". I Call AAA again (this is the third time) and I'm told "We can’t help you because due to the weather we can’t dispatch a service truck.” I argue this point stating I've used AAA in all kinds of weather including a blizzard and was able to get help. I argue that AAA is supposed to help people 24/7 no matter the weather. Representative says, “We can’t help you because this is not part of your membership.” I will certainly upgrade on the spot if need be. Then they tell me, “It’s not part of AAA service, we can only help you if you have a flat tire, we can’t just put tires on for you.” LOVE that they keep changing their story! So, I ask, "Are you just going to leave me stranded? “ (By this time I am speaking to a supervisor) who says "Yes, ma’am we are so sorry but this is for you to figure out, we suggest you call your insurance company.”
