I don't know what all these bad reviews are for. The minute you walk in you see the entire production line in front of your eyes--huge volumes nixtamalized corn being freshly ground, tortillas being shaped and cooked. The smell of fresh tortillas fills the air. It's really quite amazing. And yes, their masa is absolutely delicious.

The tortillas from La Patria are very good and of quality. My family always resorts to tortillas from La Patria for every occasion. However, the reason I rate it 3 stars is because there have been days that I come to buy tortillas and they are closed. There posted time to close is 5 pm. I would understand if they stopped serving a few minutes before 5 pm to clean up and get things ready to close. But a whole hour before that? It's happened multiple times. This last time I came at around 4:10 pm, the doors were shut with no announcement that they were closing early. Yet I see a worker opening the establishment for a customer (most likely a family member or friend). I called La Patria to see if they were in fact open. I could hear the phone ringing from outside and I had just seen the worker go in with the customer. Yet they did not pick up the phone. A bit disappointed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. David has been a great help making sure our orders are available on time. Tortillas are always fresh which is a plus! Definitely recommend this place..

There are places where no matter how much you try to look at the good side, you just don't...Terrible service ,And with this pandemic, the girls don't wash their hands, they get paid and that's how they package the tortillas...

My family has been going to this location for years.... Amazing quality masa and their tortillas are very delicious too nothing near by my home compares to their prices and (as I stated before) quality!! I highly recommend you pick some up if you're planning on eating Birria, menudo, or just simply having a carne asada!!!!

So my dad tells me his coworker said there was a Tortilleria on valley, that has nixtamal soaking in tubs and that they grind it fresh for tortillas we decided to go since it sounds legit right? Wrong! I had forgotten I had already been there with a friend that lives around the corner. Anyhow decided to give a second chance we were there Sunday at 8:45am the tortillas were very cold like they had been sitting since Saturday. I asked the lady if she had warm tortillas and she replied no not yet. These tortillas are your typical tasting that you can buy from El super, Superior, or Vallarta. They use Maseca nothing special about them only more expensive. I don't doubt they used to stone grind years back.. but not anymore.

My grandparents came to buy masa for tamales here and they refused to sell them 4lbs. They told them they had to buy 10lbs and refused to sell them any masa. Very disappointed in this establishment you can’t force people to buy a certain amount that they don’t need!
