Today I went to pick up my Windows screen that I ordered two days ago. They only had one done out of two the person attending me. Told me they forgot to make one. He said he will make it so I had to wait 40 minutes for him to make it then I had to take a receipt to the cashier and she wanted me to sign the papers they do everything here the old-fashioned way. this is not the first time I had a problem here they need the management to keep a better eye on their new employees that they're doing their job correctly instead of walking around doing nothing.

My wife and I have only been customers for a couple of months now, but every time we stop in the service is fantastic, and the prices are comparable, or better, than the big box stores (Home Depot and Lowes). There's plenty of parking right around the store...you don't have to walk half a mile, like you do at the big box stores. We used to have an Ace Hardware near our home in San Diego, so we're really glad we discovered this location so close to home.

This place is good when you fit in your house and some people and not too much people there but where they are I highly recommend to go in the morning time then the afternoon or night time

They get zero stars, the service is bad, the staff seems scared, they always have new people working seems like a high staff turnover. The bathroom is disgusting . The store is a mess. I tired giving small business a try no thank you, I will stick to the Home Depot.

You can always find something out of the ordinary at Merritt's during the Christmas season. They have an area specifically for all your decorating needs. They even have a room cordoned off with a Christmas town display. Service is nice and staff are always helpful and friendly.

Would've given this store 2 stars, but I used to go to Ace Hardware with my dad all the time and I don't want to ruin their rating here. Anyways, I understand that returns without receipt can be annoying and as a customer, pretty embarrassing that I forgot where my receipt was after a very tough month. I received the HARDEST EYE ROLL ever from one of the store associates after I said, "sorry, I can't find the receipt and would like to do a return or exchange". After she finished rolling her eyes she thus doubled down by giving me rude attitude customer service afterwards and get-out-of-my-face vibes. After that, I did not get to return my item and exchange. I came back later to purchase something else from another associate, he was much kinder. I ain't a snitch so I am not gonna say names. Shht happens, please learn to be kinder especially if I came in with an apologetic tone. Thank you.

First of all I want to say I love coming to Merritt in la puente because the workers are always so helpful and super polite specially Nicole she's always so helpful and can always answer all my questions, she's just the best. And I just love all their Christmas decorations and lights they are great quality.

It's o k, they do have a lot of merchandise that most places like home depot and lowe's do not have the only downsides on that is, their prices are extremely high.

Came by today for a few hex bolts and drill bits for my hammer drill. They had everything I needed plus the things I didn’t know I needed. I really appreciated the customer service, that really won me over with ace. Thank you!

I prefer coming to this store specifically Because everybody here is super friendly and knowledgeable. I come here every so often and always gotten the best service. From the barbecue section all the way down to gardening. The last few times I have came in I had the pleasure of having Nicole assist me at the counter and inform me of other things that they offer. I Will definitely bring in my knives next time to be sharpened. I definitely appreciate this store more than the big name stores. To all the staff in each department that has insisted me thank you

On Thursday 7-6-23 I went to ACE to drop off my screen door frame to get it rescreened. They took measurements and i asked them to please make sure they didn't warp my frame because I've had other screens fixed by them with that problem. The person helping me wrote done this instruction on the receipt. I was instructed to pay first then come back the following day to pick it up. The next day 7-7-23 I went to pick it up at 5:30pm and it wasn't ready. One of the workers was trying to rush to rescreen it , but I notified them not to because I wanted them to take there time so the screen can come out correctly. I went to pick it up the following day again 7-8-23 it was ready this time. We took it home and unfortunately the frame wasn't fitting my screen door because they gave me back a warped rescreened frame. I took it back explained the problem, the person was writing a new order receipt and called his manager to get an approval. The manager MARK RIVAS came very aggressive, defensive and very rude telling us we brought the frame warped. As much as I kept telling him it wasn't warped when we brought it MARK RIVAS wasn't listening. He claimed he rescreened it himself and so he said I'm going to return your money back. He took off the screen he claimed to have put on himself and as soon as he took it off my frame, I had a straight frame again. I told him to look at my straight frame. He stood quiet and looked d*** founded because he knew he was wrong as soon as he saw my frame straight and not warped like he claimed it was. He also got offended when I told him to look at it again and he replied "oh you're just trying to rub it in my nose ". He is very unprofessional. He has poor management skills.

The store is huge compared to other Ace Hardware locations. The staff could be a bit more friendly. The downside to this was the return policy. I was looking to buy an AC and was told I could not return it once the box was open.. They could not open the box to see the dimensions, and it was the only unit they had of that brand and size.

The reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because they helped me out and I left with what I needed. It was a drag seeing who I was told was manager, Ms. Ivonne, yell at one of her employees. It seemed like she was trying to make him feel upset. Instead of taking her fellow employee aka coworker to an area without customers she yelled at him in the middle of the store. She wasn’t really allowing him to speak up for himself. The entire ordeal could’ve been handled very differently. Employees are not pawns and you could definitely tell there was some sort of ladder when it came to management and regular titled employees. Sad to say, because this was my first time at this store. I did speak my mind to the supervisor, idk how that was handled afterwards but management needs to do better and actually hire leaders and not just people used to titles. Do better and lead by example. Thank you to the gentlemen who helped me out
