Been using this service before, but I feel like the most recent interaction was very poorly handled. I tried to explain that my car has been experiencing issues for the past few days, including a strange high pitched sound. Despite bringing it in to have them look at the vehicle and explaining simply what was going, I was repeatedly told that nothing was wrong by Kay. The shop seemed rushed and did not do other tests to figure out the issue. The car then stopped working entirely shortly after (fuel light, battery light was on and the car would not move or start).
After I had another mechanic from a different service look at my car, he was able to figure it out quickly. He told me there was an issue with the alternator that was likely causing the other issues I mentioned before to Fuji.
Whenever I called Kay to explain the situation, he rebuffed me and told me he couldn't understand. He hung up after the most recent call. Thankfully another shop was willing to help.
No longer interested in using Fuji Auto. So much could have been avoided if they took my concerns seriously. Instead this situation was handled disrespectfully by the shop and problems with the car only escalated. I will be taking my car to another place that handled this more competently and professionally.

I took my car in for a new battery. They ordered it and got delivered in 45 minutes. The technician changed the battery and I was out of the shop for less than 2 hours.. very honest & professional. I have been their customer for years and will definitely recommend to anyone needing car repairs.

Excellent independent local auto shop. Opens 8am and first come first serve. Kay at desk is very friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for the most honest, reliable and overall the best auto body/mechanic, look no further cause you’ve found it— I honestly don’t trust anyone else with my car and I will only go to Mr. Kay at Fuji Auto.My most recent visit to Fuji Auto I needed quite a bit of work done on my car— lots of collision damage effecting both passenger side tires and then some. And tbh, I don’t know much about cars but even I could tell the damage was really, really bad. I’ve never been in a situation like this where my car is completely un-drivable needing extensive repairs but I knew whatever the outcome, that if anyone could save my car, it would be Mr. Kay and his team at Fuji Auto.There was a laundry list of damage done/ repairs needed and even though Mr. Kay communicated the cost upfront and etc. I was still shocked at the total cost of everything as I was expecting to pay so much more. I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised by a bill in my life.So long story short, my car was un-drivable and dropped off via tow truck on Tuesday and by Thursday of that same week, my car was fixed and I was able to drive my little car once again!All in all, Mr. Kay is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever met and his team at Fuji Auto always do fantastic quality work with prices that are more than fair. He communicates every step of the way and there is never any pressure in his words only honesty and knowledge.Fuji Auto takes care of your car like it’s their own and Mr. Kay takes care of you like your family.Thank you so much Mr.Kay + Fuji Auto team for always fixing my car!Services: Tires

Need to replace my coolant pump since it was leak. Dealer give me quote and I also get quote from Fuji. Fuji price was only half of the dealer price. And just was done really quickly.

Took my car there this morning for brake issues. Kay gave me an idea of what was wrong before they started. Also told me how much it would be and how long it would take. Very professional and courteous. His staff were also courteous and professional. Finished the job according to the time promised with no additional costs. I will bring my car here again in the future, even though it's a longer drive to get there. It's definitely worth it to find someone honest and professional these days. This type of shop is difficult to find. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs their car repaired and cannot find a trustworthy shop.

Firstly, I can tell the business owner takes great pride in the work that they do for Japanese vehicles and I can appreciate that. I brought my car in to get serviced and paid close to $900 for the work done. AC was working fine before I brought it in. The next day i notice my ac (cool) setting is not working. I call back and explain the situation. The owner said to bring the car in they will take a look. I drop off my car and they call me later and say they couldn't figure out and they charge $160 for diagnosis and told me to be prepared to pay $1k to fix it. I said right now I do not have the budget for a complete fix and asked if they can check the connector or fuse and do a quick temporary fix and I can bring it back when I have enough funds for a full fix in the future. It was a flat out no from the owner, who sounded very annoyed when I asked if they could do a quick fix. They defended their work saying they did the job right Tuesday when I brought it in, and that this is a different issue. I completely understand and respect where they are coming from and take pride in what they do. So I took my car to a different shop. A quick temporary fix was definitely possible and the different shop did it for less than what Fuji Auto charges for diagnosis.Although Fuji auto does great work too, do not come here looking for any quick fixes as they will not lower their standards based on customer needs. Only consider here if you are looking for quality work and service.

They live up to their Yelp & Google Reviews reputation. I'm a first time customer with a Honda 2016 Civic needing the 60k mileage maintenance. Also my driver's side door handle went loose. You can literally rip it off the door.Japanese older gentleman picked up the phone fast, saw me with within 15min of calling, gave me an estimate for all the work. Several hours later his estimate was spot on on. At other places I would pay twice what he charged (Firestone, Pepboys). He gave me this cool maintenance card (kinda like your immunization card). So we can all track what needs to be done / got done together.A+++ service and price. Parking looked tight, but I found a spot. I'm so relieved I have now found "my guy" when it comes to my Civic. I'm a lifetime customer starting now.

I haven't had my car maintenanced here yet but I had a few different calls just to get a quote for some proactive service. Kay from Fuji Auto got back to me quickly, with accurate numbers, and when he recommended I do the service. He didn't try to upsell me or get in the door right away. Seems like a good place to have work done.
