Just called to inquire about a Groupon deal for an alignment they are advertising and the lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude and short with me. At first she didn't know what car I have then she immediately said that my car wouldn't fit on their machine and they couldn't help me. I won't be giving them any of my business.

Thus far, I have had two services completed on my 2015 Honda Civic Lx by Abe of Equality Automotive: wheel alignment and replacement of thermostat + upper & lower radiator hoses (both in December 2023). Both experiences were positive. Although I arrived a little earlier than my appointment times, Abe didn't have me wait and took me in right away. I believe Equality Automotive offers fair pricing and I appreciate the fact that Abe is an honest mechanic. Abe told me that a customer once came to his shop because another mechanic and noted needing various repairs. Abe looked over the customer's vehicle and informed the customer that the other mechanic had lied to him about all the required work. At the end of the day, that customer didn't need to do much which saved him money. Abe told me that story and I believe his sincerity. Abe's wife minds the front office desk and is very pleasant and professional when making my appointments. On one occasion when I tried calling their shop, my cell phone started to act up and Abe's wife left me a voicemail message noting that my phone call hadn't gone through and to check my cell phone. And huge plus for Equality Automotive is that it is open for business for limited hours on Saturdays. Equality Automotive is located in the City of La Puente near the main library and City Hall in the little quaint older part of town. Make sure to plug in their address into GPS because the shop is located at a corner and is not that visible from the street. If you aren't careful and watching out for it, you can easily drive past it and never know. It's a relative small shop. Office is small, clean, but comfortable. Abe's wife told me that with time, they plan to renovate it to make it more comfortable. I typically don't leave Yelp reviews much but since Abe and his wife have been so pleasant and helpful, I couldn't help and leave them a positive review. Abe is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic and as mentioned previously, they've completed two jobs for me thus far and am happy with the results. I have started telling friends and family about Equality Automotive and they plan to take their cars for service including my 85 year old father. So for all your automotive needs especially if you live and around La Puente, consider calling Abe at Equality Automotive first to see if he can help you resolve your automotive issues.

Been coming and going here since I bought my car in 2018 Abraham is very knowledgeable and honest he don't mess around when it comes to getting he's work done every single time I've came here I've left satisfied .. I highly recommend this location to anyone that ever needs a real helping hand

I thought it was a good value finding both good reviews online and a Groupon. However, I came at 8:00am (which was my appointment time, and also the opening time,) and waited outside for over half an hour. I called 15 times, even though I knew no one was coming. I got up early on purpose so I can get a wheel alignment done before work, but there was no indication that this place was ever going to open on time. I drove away at around 8:40am. Later at 9:44am I got a missed call from them. Wonder what took so long to come into work?

Great experience. I got new tires.Needed alignment.I called yesterday for an appointment for today.I came in today.Abraham I was very efficient and very pleasant. I got my car aligned with him. Within 30 mins he was done.Easy and great service plus work.Highly recommended. He printed me the alignment sheet and showed me the measurements before and after.If I need any auto work done I will go to him from now on.I'm glad I found his shop.Service: Wheel alignment
