If I could give them zero stars I would. Years ago I took my cat in, i was told cat was pregnant (I cant remember exactly if they told me she had 2 or 3 kittens inside) and asked if I wanted to terminate pregnancy for $90. I said no and was looking for home for the future kittens...my cat never had kittens! She was never pregnant. Next incident..I took my dog in because he had a horrible cough. They did Xrays and vet came outside to talk to me and told me he possibly had lung cancer. I was very sad, the person in the car next to me came out and said sorry to me..The vet said they had to send xrays to specialist to get an actual reading for an extra fee. A few days later I found it wasn't cancer, which I was happy to hear, but they said my dog had an enlarged heart and collapsed trachea. I ended up taking my dog to a different vet because his cough didn't go away. The other vet gave my dog a shot of penicillin problem solved, no more cough! My dog lived for about 15 years. In his final days I took him to a different vet and i told them I was told yrs ago he had an enlarged heart and collapsed trachea. After new lab work and xrays the vet told me my dog didn't have an enlarged heart or collapsed trachea!!

Didn't need an appointment, cheaper than other vets and the staff were incredible as was the Veterinarian. Since no appointments beware there is wait list , I didn't wait no longer than 30 min mid afternoon. I highly recommend this place.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I have to thank Dr. Johnny Nguyen and Dr. Luisito Gallardo for the compassion and excellent care they provided to my glam baby Mozart. Our little Mozart decided to rub his head and face all in a bouquet of Lily’s not knowing they are extremely toxic to little kitty’s like him. My daughter rushed him to the nearest vet which happened to be this one here, and boy was she a wreck, Mozart is her whole life. They treated Mozart, he stayed overnight and his mama was worried sick. Our family and friends were terrified by what we have read about Lily’s and the mortality rate etc. And this little fur brat Mozart is her whole entire world. He is a handful and only likes his mama. There was no other option than for him to be ok. Luckily she had him at the office within a few hours of his little adventure in the Lily bouquet. Even all the people that had been waiting over an hour for their visit allowed my daughter and Mozart to skip the line because she was so distraught. All of those kind people I want to thank as well.Mozart came home today with mama. Happy and healthy and still of course ornery as ever.Jocelyn who I believe is an assistant to the doctors there is an absolute doll and provide the most excellent customer service care and compassion to Mozart and mama.Everyone here went above and beyond what they had to. I would 100% recommend bringing your fur babies here after the service and care our little Mozart received. And for anyone who doesn’t know…watch what you bring into your home. The nicest gesture could be extremely deadly to your fur babies. We had no idea.

I took my cat in because he was breathing open mouth and heavily. What I appreciate is that they accept walk in you just have to be there an hr earlier. With my busy work schedule that changes day by day it's will be my go Vet of choice. I just moved to the area and got lucky findinb then. Thank you to the staff and the doctor. BTW Cinnabon is doing much better.

Dr. Medina from Amar Glen Veterinary Hospital KILLED MY CAT Anita and took more than $2000 from me for their unskilled, incompetent services. On July 18 I took Anita to a 24 hour Emergency hospital because she was not eating or drinking water. There they made all the tests there are and was diagnosed with a mass on her bladder and other complication that resulted from that mass, that was causing a blockage and for sure had it ever since the first time I took her to Amar Glen in 2022. Anita was in critical condition, and we had to put her to sleep.I took Anita to Amar Glen Veterinary hospital 6 times Since October 31, 2022, until June 29, 2023. They diagnosed her with early stage of kidney disease and UTI. But had recurring UTIs so every time they would make bloodwork and a urinalysis but never did an ultrasound or x-ray. I always made sure to tell them her symptoms including constipation, they never did an ultrasound or x-ray so the mass in her bladder that was causing all the problems could be treated properly.I still can't believe the lack of interest, unprofessionalism and incompetence of Dr Medina. Anita was a senior cat, sure but that doesn't mean that she didn't deserve a high quality of life. She wasn't supposed to suffer the way she did.I was blindsided and confused by this clinic because they seemed to care and treat my Anita with affection when I was present but that was all a lie. I'm extremely disappointed and heartbroken.People do yourself a favor if you're taking your pets to this clinic specifically with Dr Medina, don't trust them 100% because you will be disappointed. I honestly don't care about the money, I just wished Dr. Medina would've done his job correctly and my cat would've not suffered the way she did.If you're pet continues to have health problems always make sure to look for a second opinion it doesn't matter where or what Doctor is attending the pet, it can save lives. Ask for the tests available, and if needed or any doubts ask for an ultrasound/ x-ray to see if any masses are present.

Friendly staff! Parking can be tricky and you must always anticipate spending a few hours as they are walk in first come first serve. They do offer grooming and their groomer is very kind he always comes out and introduces himself to everyone that is waiting.

This office is bustling even before the doors open.Good service and prices. The vet listens and talks with you. If any testing is done the vet will give you the results and discuss any plans of action.

One vet tech was rude. I was asking questions she sounded annoyed. Not sure if that vet tech was having a bad day or what, but it’s unprofessional. Usually they are very helpful and nice. And making a phone call is a nightmare. It’s a hit or miss. Usually they are great and takes care of my pets. Also, people cut in lines. What’s the point of waking up early if people cut? They should have a system for this. Like a ticket number.

Staff and doctor are great but the office manager lacked empathy and compassion. Called during the week about the hardest and toughest decision in our family, euthanization of our 15 yr old fur family member who we've had since the moment she was born, I was told they close at 5. Showed up after my work at 3:15 and was told it was too late because they werent taking any more walk-ins and they wouldn't want to rush our goodbyes. It was Saturday and of course people want to leave as soon as possible from work. Our family pet was just a number to HER. Told us to come back Monday at 9:00. We were mentally ready for that day after being told it would be possible for that day, our hearts broken but ready to face the inevitable. So, we went elsewhere and gave them my money. Amar Glen lost my business that day since our fur baby was just another regular piece of business to HER, instead of taking a minute to understand how incredibly hard that decision was for the family. I cannot fully recommend this place, with her there.

DO NOT GO HERE !! whatever you do please don't take your pet here! I noticed my dog was limping so i brought her here for an x-ray which was $400, they said nothing was wrong with her and sent us home. Next day i noticed she had an open wound, HOW DID THEY NOT SEE THAT !?? i took her back and they said they were NOT going to take her in because she needs stitches and they don't have the time. THIS EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY ACTUALLY TOOK A LOOK AT HER THE FIRST TIME I BROUGHT HER IN, i ended up having to pay 2 THOUSAND for her stitches, x-ray and medication. AND they kept replacing her bandages which was $60 each ! These people do not care about your pet and only want your money. Save your money and take your dog somewhere else PLEASE
