The phlebotomist that drew my blood at the La Palma facility was not very skilled. She stuck me with the needle but appeared to miss my vein so instead of taking it out and making sure she found a vein on the next try, she started to move the needle in and out and to the side, which was uncomfortable. After trying this for a minute or so, she decided to try the other arm and was successful. This was a bad experience for me. I have had blood drawn in many other labs and rarely does this happen.

This has been my favorite place to take my kids to their lab until this past Wednesday. The lady in room 2 had zero bedside manner; she was cold and rude to my crying child. She had no meaning in helping him feel better or less nervous. She was standing there, raising her eyebrows and waiting. Far from that, she talked with a mean tone, asking him, will you give me an arm or not? That made me mad; I asked her if someone else could do it since one friendly lady helper found the first vein, but she walked off to care for another patient. Well, her response was straight out cold: "NO." I was VIVID, but control myself as I was trying to reason with my child. They are not allowed to change nurses when asked.
She ended up poking him four times, failing to locate a vein. She then commented, "HE IS UNWILLING." she replied, suggesting another try, but to her surprise, I said No, and we left immediately.
I am not a person that complain, but she really does like kids.

******* Worst service *****
Hi , My name is Arunbabu, I have booked an appointment for my blood work in quest diagnostics, LA Palma, CA. I am a regular patient here, I have done my last blood test in the same service center. Today the service was very bad. I was in fasting for my blood work from morning. My appointment time is 12:10 pm , I reached at 12 pm and waited for 20 min to get in. Once I was in , the service provider asked my Order. I told her I has a order in my phone. She asked me to share via email. I did shared. She said she can not see the order number clearly and couldn't proceed with the test. She didn't even try to get the details, her motive is to send me out. The order has QR code which she can scan or she can call my PCP and get the details because it's working hour for both. Instead she just send me out. Very worst behavior and worst service ever. Due to the patients volume just cut it of the number. She didn't care about the patient.i don't prefer quest diagnostics in my future and don't recommend to my friends if you do nothing on this compliant. Please don't let this happen to other patients.
