had a great experience. went in on a whim since it's next to my golds and I wanted to see the stock. Very well organized, clean, and was greeted immediately. I didn't catch his name so i will call him hat guy (sorry). Gave me a quick rundown on the proteins they had, the differences, best sellers and what cooks well, what doesn't sell very well, warnings on some flavors, etc. Some people may be turned off trying to be sold to but it's their job, and he did a fine job of it. I felt well informed, comfortable, and confident in my purchase. Will be coming back again, even if just for a question.

I really wish I could like this place since it is right next to my gym and coffee spot. But every time I want to swing by for something it is almost always closed. If it is one person running this by themselves, I am pretty understanding but unfortunately the hours are inaccurate and attempting to come in for a week straight with no luck is a huge bummer since I do enjoy supporting small businesses over mass franchises when it comes to consumer goods. When I went in the person working I wasn't sure was the owner or an employee but I just made sure they knew I was browsing, bought my usual protein powder that I keep in hand, they of course need to update some products which I understand but after saying a verbal "no thank you" they attempted to come at it again and then goes along to mentioning another one that I did not really care for. They do also charge a 10% sales tax while the City of LM and LA County regulate 9.5% so if anyone is picky about that, you should know. (I've had people want to throw tables at me for things like that) so please be aware of that prior to shopping here (for those who have issues with that). Although their selection is decent for the space they have, I found myself gravitating towards another nutrition store in which I now love.
