I found Toni after having anxiety knowing my hair was in dire straights after having back to back extensions for almost 13 years somewhere else. As you can imagine my real hair was literally like the crypt keeper. Thin, dull and pretty much gone. I had been thinking for years about wearing my real hair but I thought it would be impossible since it was so thin and had so much breakage. Toni breathed new life into me and my hair!! She took out my previous extensions and we had a talk about my desire to break free. She cut a beautiful pixie on me and I am confident to actually wear my natural hair and break free from the feeling that I "had" to have extensions. I cannot thank you enough Toni you have changed my life!!

There are not enough words to explain the value Toni puts into her brand. Her hair studio is not that average and you can tell when you first pull up to her shop. Once you walk in, you know you’re in a salon that is clean, well valued, and have a sense of serenity! The decor is also on point and there has never been a time that I’ve gone that the shop has been in a disarray. What shop have you ever been to that’s always spotless and smell good at all times no matter how busy it is.
Toni makes sure she takes pride in her brand and is a perfect example of her work! She is always put together and never makes excuses as to why her hair or appearance is a mess and she is always professional. This is why I was shocked to see the 1 star review that was left! I’m not a hairstylist, but I do have curly hair and know that my curly hair will never be bone straight with a relaxer. A relaxer is made to straighten your hair, but a good stylist is able to keep your hair healthy by keeping the integrity of your texture, especially when you want to add color. That is one thing Toni and I have discussed when she has colored my hair in the past. Her motto is healthy hair first! She is not one of those stylist that will put chemicals in your hair without you understanding what comes with the process.
I love how she has taken care of my scalp; which has allowed my hair to grow and it’s the healthiest it has ever been. No more shedding! No more flakes! No more dead hair! I have a beautiful full short cut with volume and she’s even gotten my thin sides to fill in.
I am thankful that Toni always puts her clients first, always reinvesting in her hair studio, takes the time to always educate her clients, and most recently have made major changes to incorporate COVID changes that proves she’s not playing any games with our health nor hers!

I came to Toni 6 years ago with over processed thin hair. Over the years she’s breathed new life into my hair and my life. I’ve gotten to the point where I let Toni do whatever she wants to do with my hair. Short adorable bob. Yes. 26 inch blonde wig. Yes! Red sew in. Yep. Braids. Of course! Trying new protective styles is my love language. I’ve been natural for 5 years and my hair is healthier and longer than it’s ever been. Toni is professional and timely. I’ve never been forgotten underneath the dryer or waited an absurd amount of time to be seen. I don’t have to chase her down to make an appointment. I can make appointments with ease through her online portal. Everything is in order as it should be. It was nice to find a stylist I could leave my worries at the door and exhale...with amazing hair to go with it.

When I moved to SD a few years ago one of the first things I was looking for was a new place to get my hair done. I hated leaving my old place because I was so used to getting my hair done there and I tried multiple places I didn't like in SD before I went to Toni's salon. After I started going to Toni's hair studio there was no other place I wanted to go. One, her hair studio is incredibly neat, organized and clean. And two, she is super nice and made my hair look amazing. I usually get the "sleek girl" and it made my hair perfectly straight. Exactly what I wanted and she's been helping me make my hair healthier. 10/10 recommend.

I had Toni service my curly hair I spent over two months growing out. The only way I knew how to make it bone straight was to relax it and I also wanted it platinum blonde. Toni agreed to do both within three weeks of each other. I asked her more than once if the relaxer would make it bone straight and she replied yes each time. A week after the relaxer I washed it and it wasn’t bone straight like she said it’d be. It had an unexpected curl to it. I respectfully brought this concern and question to her via email honestly thinking I would come to a better understanding and resolution to my hair goals. She replied back explaining things to me regarding the relaxer service & process of going blonde that she failed to tell me during my initial consultation. Had she done so I would’ve obviously understood why my hair still had a curl to it and not questioned her about it. Instead, she decided not to do business with me ever again which I feel was out of spite due to her feeling slightly offended. She met me with the classic “I wish you the best of luck...” On both of her Yelp pages I've attached to my reviews the factual email exchange between Toni & I and also proof that I was a client of hers & I did pay her for relaxing my hair.

I have been a client of Toni for over 10 years and she has helped me maintain being a healthy blonde and I am so happy with my hair every time I have tried other colors like a balayage add some brown in there got bored with it and went back platinum blonde with no problem and kept my hair healthy still. So happy to have her as my stylist.

Love love this place! Toni is so sweet & she's from the Bay so we vibed really well. I came in just to revive my old weave & it looks amazing now! She also gave me tips on how to maintain the style. I'll be coming to her for other services too because the half up half down style she had in her hair was cute I'll definitely come back! I love the location and the decor in the shop!

Today I got a silk press along with my hair trimmed. I was very pleased. I met Toni upon arrival and she let me know she would be washing my hair prior to Chris arriving. Once Chris got there we moved right along. I left with what I wanted, I generally wear braids but I do recommend this studio. Thank you again!
