I have visited this business three times and have received the most amazing customer service! All three individuals that I’ve met have been extremely knowledgeable and willing to help. Angel in particular has been marvelous to work with! I had a great deal of difficulty selecting, not only a color, but also type of paint. He patiently guided me through the process, was always ready with ideas and support, and was instrumental in finalizing my choices today. Thanks so much to all the staff for your very courteous assistance and industry knowledge.

I drove from Rancho Bernardo to Inland Paint and Design Center. Everyone there is very nice and helpful, but let me tell you about Steve! Steve is definitely a color expert. He took the time to help me find several shades of gray paint colors. Gray's are tricky because they can pick up blues and purple shades. I learned so much from Steve to include how different lighting can affect the colors, and purchased several samples of different gray's. It took a couple visits and and several samples before I chose Stonington Gray. It's absolutely beautiful in my home.I purchased a new front door and visited Steve again for dark brown paints and he asked me questions... will the sun directly shine on the door? How much sun and about how long! He recommended a paint that has UV protection that I ended up going with. Other paint stores I visited before inland paint did not recommend colors/ shades and basically didn't talk to me. They were basically cashiers behind the register.You won't be disappointed at Inland Paint!

We bought a fixer upper and have been doing a massive remodel. The guys at Inland have helped us with so many projects. They are knowledgeable and honest. They’ve been able to answer every question I’ve thrown at them from wall paint to cabinet paint to wood stains. If they don’t have something, they help me source at other stores. That honesty and helpfulness has made me a customer for life. I’ll never go anywhere else!

I spent some time here with Angel who was wonderful. I brought my stucco color and he helped me match and gave me ideas about trim. I left with paint samples and will be back to buy my paint.

Nowadays, it's hard to find businesses with that extra special touch of customer service that really sets them apart from the rest. Inland paint and design center has that in spades.Every time I come in, I get a genuine sense that the workers enjoy what they do, and are actually happy to help customers with their paint needs. They are exceptional at answering any paint-related questions you have and don't make you feel rushed while you're trying to make your selections.What compelled me to write this review is the fact that there was a HANDMADE Christmas tree made from paint swatches/squares and specks of paint on the gallon can I was picking up. Completely unnecessary and unexpected but it restored my faith in humanity. Let me say that again: My faith in humanity was restored shopping at a paint store. Shop here.

I walked in one day looking for exterior colors for my home....Angel was wonderful and helped me fine tune my choices. He was so friendly and responsive. When I needed more paint, I just called him up and he would have it ready for me when I came by. Now, he is helping me with interior colors, making samples and suggesting paint types. Connie and Caston are very helpful as well. Tucked in a strip mall on Jackson Drive across the street from Starbucks, you might miss it if you aren't looking for it. Highly recommended!!! My painting contractor opened an account and loves their products too!

I am so beyond thankful for the help the staff at this location gave! I am in the middle of a full house addition/remodel and had been told by the contractors that painting time was coming soon and to start looking into my desired paint color. Easy right? Nope!!!! The world of paint color is a science in and of itself! By week three of looking into paint I was scratching my head over sun exposure, LRV, and undertones. I tried sample after sample of various paint colors only to find the colors too dark, too light, or too much of a certain undertone once applied to my walls. I began stressing over selecting a color that would give me the neutral look I wanted without being too cold in my primarily east and north facing house. I'd been to several chain and specialty paint shops and though the staff were nice they didn't really have much knowledge in what I was looking for. Then I came here on a whim. Best. Decision. Ever! I was immediately greeted by Connie and Angel who not only listened to what I was looking for but were excited to help me find colors that would compliment the exposures in my home. The knowledge these two had not only in the world of paint but in their own product was so appreciated and soon my stress just faded away. I left there with a clear understanding of what I needed for my home and the absolute perfect color for my walls! Thank you again Connie and Angel!
