The pharmacy is the size of a closet, so if you want discretion, you'll want to pick up your meds somewhere else. I was expecting to quickly grab my medicine and leave, and for the most part, I was able to do that, but not before the pharmacist loudly announced what my medicine was for, which would have been tolerable if I was by myself, but since I had a family member with me, I have had to have several conversations that I didn't intend on having in hopes of not worrying everybody, so thanks for that. It's probably a good pharmacy otherwise, but I REALLY hate that there was zero regard for my privacy.

Sharp Weight Management used to be a wonderful place filled with wonderful people. Sadly, the keywords are used to be! They are now disconnected, expensive, uninterested, and uncaring. I started the shake program because I want the gastric sleeve. Dr. J said if you take the shake program for 6 months, we will refer you. They have you plugged into a new system where they monitor you. Weight, water, exercise & blood pressure in both Phase 1 and Phase 2. No personal contact except for 45 minutes once a week over zoom where you are mixed in with approx. 20 people. The management has become disinterested and is in dire need of fresh blood. Their idea of weight loss is charging the patient approx. $360.00 every two weeks for their shake program (4 boxes of shakes, entrees, and benefit bars) Autopay every two weeks plus service fee. How many people can afford $360.00 every two weeks plus an additional $200.00 for medication that did not work? It took about 3 weeks before I could not afford the amount of money they were charging. I had to move to Phase 2 but kept doing the shakes. The only extra thing that I added was a banana. I talked to Dr. B and was told that because I moved to Phase 2, they would not refer me for a gastric sleeve consultation. I only added a banana, and I bought my food and shakes weekly, putting everything on a credit card so that I could at least get the consultation. They do not care about patient needs, and when you voice your concerns, you are met with the Department head giving a lackluster reason. Collecting the patient's fees was taking up too much time for her Business Associates when they had other important duties to do. This is a program that has been going on for 25 years and the patient paid every week. I thought Sharp always puts the patient first. If you don't have patients, what do you have? With the number of patients needing to lose weight, their idea of helping is putting people on Qsymia which is phentermine and topiramate, and then when it works, they take you off of it. or Contrave which in some cases causes horrible hives all over your body. Do you think they cared? No! they did not. They moved right on to offering another drug which was injections and was thousands of dollars and not covered by insurance. What they did care about was that they did not have to refer me for a consultation. A consultation people! Not even the surgery, just a consultation! Nope! No way! They would not do it. This was not my first time trying. This is like my 3rd time trying! Please hold onto your money and steer clear of Sharp Weight Management. They don't care about the patient! Oh and don't worry Paula, Dr. J and Dr. B-I will NEVER step foot in your arena again. But what I will do is share with people how you treated me. I will stop people on the street. YOU ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU WERE TREATED!! The absolutely sad truth is that it used to be a wonderful place, filled with wonderful people. That ship has sailed.

Thanks to Angelina in billing services I was able to sort out all my insurance questions. She was so informative and kind. It was the end of the day and I'm sure, like anyone of us she was ready to go home but not once did she try to rush me off the phone. People like her are hard to come by and I feel blessed to have had her help. Anyone dealing with insurance knows how frustrating it can be so Thank you Angelina for all your help!

I use the Pharmacy monthly for prescriptions i can't have filled at my local pharmacy. Regulary I'll request a refill on a Monday and day after day I'll be told it should be ready "tomorrow", then finally 4 days later I'll get a call that it's ready, sometimes even wait until the next week. Today they told me it was processed yesterday, yesterday they told me it was processed the previous day, they literally lie, intentionally or not.

I can not say enough good things about this hospital. We live 2.5 hrs away, there are 3 Delievery hospitals that is near where I live however I chose this one to go to despite the increased gas prices. DR Jose de la mota is the doctor that was recommended by my coworker who also loves near me. I'm a first time mom and choosing the right doctor is so important. I need to feel safe with my first birthing experience with the right doctor and the right hospital. Dr de la mota is so kind, knowledgeable and patient. Since I live far they are able to answer my questions via chat. Ms Traci Hite is also super helpful, she was knowledgeable and wasn't pushy neither Every single apt they were able to see us within 10 min. The hospital is so clean; all of their equipments are brand new and they have more resources than most hospitals in CA in case worst comes to worst. Hospitals are never fun, but I love this hospital and their staffs so much.

Mediocre care, extremely long and winding phone trees whenever you need to call, and an annoyingly complicated billing process.Sharp is the model of bad American healthcare, go somewhere else if you care about your time and health.

I wish I could give this 0 stars, I woke up to an email from my credit union notifying me that over 300$ was sent to collection on a bill from 8 months ago. 1. I haven't had any serious issues that would cost me over 300$2. I have never received a bill in the mail or by phone 3. Even if I did owe money which I don't , since it was sent to a collections agency that means my HIPAA was violated.4 . I work for sharp, how disappointing this is that the place of my employment would do that

I don't really have an opinion of the doctors offices here but the emergency room has wonderful murses ( male nurses ) . They were all wonderful at this location , every department made us feel like we were in good hands . Good job emergency room staff !!

I needed the MenB and the HPV immunization to attend my university. I made my appointment (took maybe 30 minutes) and receive an egregious bill for $1,148? I check my statements: Immunization: $82.00Immunization: $43.00CHARGES: $605.00CHARGES: 458.00This is absolutely disgusting, even my insurance is confused as to WHAT could have caused this and is refusing to pay. What are these charges for? What warranted the $1000+ up charge? The billing department has been useless. This doctors office will push for unnecessary follow-up visits, are not upfront about billing, and give the absolute bare minimum. If you like being scammed then this is the place for you.

Unprofessional staff, I scheduled my appointment there and they would call me every day rescheduling my apt 4 times different location And i was flexible and ok because i just want to be seen, no communication between staff, someone calls me for information and after a while someone else calls me asking for same information, and finally the day of the appointment they calls me at 7 am in the morning telling me that we have to reschedule your appointment and when i told her that this is inappropriate and you guys keeps rescheduling my appointment and i need to see someone today because i already changed my work schedule as I'm a nurse, she would say they will call you to reschedule and hung up,so inappropriate and very rude.

Urgent care is now located in Santee. Great customer service. I don't have any complaint for my medical needs.
