I'm going to be totally honest. I don't really recommend this bank in general. Not specifically this location per say. I would say the interactions that i've had with the staff via in person and over the phone haven't been the greatest. I just opened my account not that long ago with this bank. I would say that the process of opening the account is easy. **But what I do not agree with is that if you are trying to set up Zelle for payments you will not be able to send a large amount of money immediately, you will have to send it in increments of a small amount the first time and then the next few times it'll be a small amount. And then you are good to send more money of a larger quantity. Apparently the teller told me that that is their process. So If you open an account with this bank and you intend to send a large amount of money via Zelle; rent or whatever don't be surprised when it's not going through. They should advise that either via the website or the teller. Should let the person know when they open the bank account. But especially the call center should know that an advise of that. Because I spent 45 minutes on the phone. I called 4 different times, got hung up on twice. No one could tell me why I couldn't send the money initially via zelle. When people are trained correctly, they are better prepared to answer questions over the phone versus always having to go into the branch and get the answer. Sometimes I don't have the type of time to go down to the branch to speak to someone in person. That's where I would say the faults are with this bank. But even when I came into this branch I didn't feel very confident in the way that the teller handled my questions or cared that I wanted to close my account initially. It's like they were more than happy to close my account if I had asked and didn't figure out how to fix why I was having doubts with their bank. You don't have to upsell me but atleast put confidence in me that you care about my business to your branch as a customer to want to try to keep me if you could fix the problem.

Jean was Amazing today with helping my husband open a new Account made sure everything was good and Answer all our questions !! Thank you Jean for you patience and passion with helping others . I will definitely tell friends and family about this place .

What a garbage experience. From opening my business account, to their customer service. The woman who helped me rushed me the entire time opening my business account, and every check i deposit they hold it for two weeks. I can't connect my external bank accounts, or do mobile deposits. Poor customer service. This bank sucks, I wish I never opened my account with them. Take your money else where.

This place is like the McDonald's of banks. This location has always been trouble and a waste of time. I call to verify that the card printer was working 5 minutes before showing up and and they say yes it's working. As I'm speaking to the teller she decided to say that it's been broken all morning. Lie. Please hire competent people.

I've been a member with MFCU for over 25 years, when I called last Monday, 2/06/23, and and again today and asked where my Credit Card is? (the one I have right now expires on 2/28/23, and today is 2/11/23. By the way, I'm waiting for my Tax Statement, I have all of my other tax documents, I was given the old song and dance, it's USPS'S fault. I was told this morning that Customer's loose their Credit Card if it is sent to early?? So they send it a week before the old one expires. Really??? This is a first, I've always been happy with their service, not any more.

I've always had a positive interaction at the 3 Mission Feds that I have been to. Plus never had problems with the ATM. Never walked up to one and found any Not working.

Friday noon and one teller on duty so there is a line and bad parking at Grossmont Mall. I needed a cash withdrawal i gave my account number and signed and she gave me cash. Later i noticed that she didnt ask for ID. I guess the days of service and security are over. MFCU is a sales driven bank.

Wanted to withdraw a large amount and teller Kevin was extremely rude and condescending. I was helping my mother out, she's elderly and he had no respect for her or even any compassion. Grant it banks have their policies but you would think that general human decency would be a given, definitely not. Thankfully manager helped us out but honestly, I hope Kevin's parents never get a person like him to "help" them out

I finished my car loan process with Mission Federal Credit Union a month ago. My old lease company charged me the monthly payment this month. I called them and they said Mission Federal did not send your payoff check. I called the Mission federal branch and they said the lady who helped me in my loan is not available and they will have the branch manager call me today. Nothing happened no body bothered to call. Now I am due for my first payment with Mission federal and overdraft on my old lender account. Grossmont Mission Federal in La Mesa the place I did the loan at.

I've had a personable experience with Mission Fed as a sub contractor, then as a customer. Overall both interactions have been wonderful. For banking services I would highly recommend them. As a subcontractor I will never forget my after hours experience picking up the days receipts and delivering them many years ago.

Great service and friendly
