“The young guy ( owners nephew) is very disrespectful and he tried to burn me a $ 20.00 bill after giving him a $50 bill and he short changed me until I noticed it while I was walking out of his uncles store! Because he saw that I was talking to someone and I was distracted and if he did it to me then... I can't imagine all the other times he burnt me for a lot of other bills that I gave him?!! He's a cheater, and yes of course, so his is his uncle because I have bought Kirkland orange juice at the Costco two for five dollars is 65 and he charges $66.06 dollars and tax for one Kirkland orange juice! This is horrible it is absolutely horrible that people take advantage of any one and everyone! He may think that I don't have much money because how I come in there!, But he has no idea I'll give very little change and many of times change change and I can tell by the way you give them money like this the way they think of you and treat you is absolutely horrible and I do this on purpose! I just wanted to see the stores that I temporary Lee live and how they treat the community and it's a goddamn shame. So remember Sam's market on University in Parks Avenue at that corner please don't go there! Dear Lord please help those that need help in their financial situation. And those of us that do try to help some of the community for people that are less unfortunate please please help dear Lord p.s. the owner is quite delightful and if I ever need anything, he always makes sure that the store Brandon supplies what I'd ask for! Although you have to remember, it's gonna cost you a little bit more than the regular store... But he's very good at helping his customers getting what they ask for”

“Lots of drink choices with decent prices! The cashier was super nice, letting us know about the single shots he had a special on which saved us almost $10 on our total cost! They carried some flavors of my favorites I've never seen, including an ice brewed coffee Jager shot (bonus that it was a double shot that was 2 for $3!!) and the BuzzBalls were the cheapest I've seen anywhere! When I'm the area again I will DEFINITELY go back!”

“The selection they have is pretty good, the men behind the counter are sometimes rude but okay. What stands out about this place is the weird little things they have. They have candy filled with a scorpion ? in the center, cricket ? candy lollipops, roasted black ants in a box, really good selection of craft non-alcoholic drinks and champy pickles to name just a few. And if you are 21+ and vape, it is the cheapest spot from here to El cajon to buy a Geek bar.”

This being said, Eastridge Liquor (I have to be honest that I never knew the name) has been a limited part of our social circle's lives for years in a very limited capacity. We don't go here to buy beer. We don't go here to buy wine. We don't go here to by booze. We don't go here to buy snacks. We don't go here to buy smokes. We go here for one reason and one reason only... to buy shots of 99 Bananas after leaving the Riviera with a belly full of steak and martinis. It's a strange tradition, but it's our tradition, and it's a tradition that Eastridge Liquor had no idea it had been participating in. For that I'm grateful.”

I was able to track down the 4 kinds I wanted at their online location. I ended up calling with some questions and spoke to Tim who was super helpful. This is a good operation!”
