It seems to me that the doctor doesn't want to work any more. You always have to make an appointment way ahead of time and then they call you and tell you that they can't take you because of " understaffing ", you reschedule for another day and when you finally bring your suffering animal to the Vet he tells you that " computer has crashed and you need to reschedule" . I will not reschedule nothing , I'll go to another Vet.

Worst experience I've had at a vet. Recommend you stay away. I came in for our first scheduled appointment (prepaid exam, mind you) and, after waiting for 30 minutes, was told the vet would not be able to keep the appointment and was invited to come back later or reschedule. The vet came in himself and walked out of the office mid-conversation when I pushed back on him for cancelling my appointment. Hard pass.

Horrible front desk staff. They hang up on you and decline you service when your scheduled gets complicated. I told the lady I only could do mornings due to having two kids and she said she would have to decline my service and hung up on me. I called back to speak with a manager/owner only to be hung up on again. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend nor ever take my dog here. Manager/owner should be aware the service delivery of your front staff is horrible and causing you to lose business.

I took my dog when I had one and now I take my cat.

If my neighbors dog bit my my child and then got sick I still wouldn't recommend this Vet. My cat suffered needlessly in pain for a month under their care. When I took her to another vet, it literally only took 3 seconds for them to diagnose the problem. There was no reason for her to spend the last 4 weeks of her life in agony. I am heartbroken and enraged beyond measure.

I recently switched to lake murray village clinic after being at san carlos animal hospital for the past 5 years. My issue with san carlos was increasingly poor customer service and never answering their phones. I called them and left a voice mail for an appointment everyday for a week and also went online to their website and filled out an inquiry form and never received a reply or call back. I write that in this review in case anyone is new to the area and looking at various reviews to find a place to take their pets.Lake murray vet has been top notch in customer service. They keep you updated during the appointment (can't go inside the building due to covid). They answer their phones in the first one or two rings and have extended hours of operation (open til 6) for convenience. The staff is very friendly and the vet is very thorough and gives clear explanations to whats going on. I've only had approximately 6 appointments/interactions with them thus far, but they have all been great. Definitely continuing to look forward in building a relationship with this group.

We just moved to the area and I cannot begin to say how much I wanted our first vet visit with Lake Murray Village to be positive. It started out wonderfully, with a delightful phone call with an upbeat veterinary assistant who set up our appointment. If the actual visit had been as accommodating as the interaction with the scheduler portended, this would have been an excellent experience. Alas. I, like other reviewers, had found glowing reviews of Dr. Golden. I didn't realize that the practice had changed hands, but that probably wouldn't have made any difference to me. I've never met Dr. Golden, so it's not a point of comparison I would have known to make. What I can say is that I paid a $58 examination fee for very little diagnosis owing to their still existent "Covid protocols," a month after the state has ended mask mandates. I am not a vaccine-skeptic (double vaccinated and boosted) nor mask reluctant (I was wearing an N95 mask), but their refusal to allow me inside to soothe my dog while they examined her meant that the only other option was full sedation. The doctor refused to come outside to explain his very limited findings, nor entertain the idea that I might have a role to play. While these "protocols" (they used the word often) were almost certainly sensible just months ago, now they seem more of an inertial convenience to a man who feels it easier not to have to deal with pesky pet owners face to face. It is entirely possible that sedation was the right way to go. For my 11-ish year old girl, I really wanted to at least explore the possibility that I could calm her enough to avoid knocking her out. I'll know more tomorrow after I make the schlep over to our old vet's office where I get to ask all of the same questions again.

Just called to ask about scheduling a second opinion and was told I need to get my dog a sedative before bringing him into a vet. Apparently because I don't want to leave my most kind hearted puppy with strangers for an evaluation, he is now aggressive and mean. How ridiculous ond unprofessional. The one star is for the first two minutes of the conversation where I thought she had an ounce of potential kindness, which quickly went out the door. We won't be calling here again for any kind of service. Yuck.

I have been coming to this vet for a couple of months. They are absolutely terrible. Doctor Brar and Nagra have a terrible bedside manner and cant diagnose a dog even though its there job. They dont know what they are doing and has cost me over $2,000 in bills. They dont read chart notes and don't communicate with one another. I took my dog in a couple days ago to get a staple out because Dr. Brar told us a week and when Dr. Nagra took it out he made it worse and put my dog in so much pain. They then blamed it on us and told us we didn't wait long enough. Wouldnt call them doctors. They are fake people who just want your money and man handle your animals.

I felt like they communicated well with me and actually cared about my dog. It seemed fairly affordable for the labs and medications we chose to use.

I have been bringing my puppy Hammie here since he was 3 months old. They love him like I do. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate that. My little guy recently had 3 surgical procedures done at one time, the surgery done by Dr. Golden and the follow-up care he received was excellent. Within 2 weeks you would never know he had anything done. Not only do all of them love their job, but are amazing at it. I trust everyone at Lake Murray Village Vet Clinic with my little guys care. Thank you ALL so much for what you do. We are customers for life.

RIP OFFI took my dog here for a dental cleaning. I was quoted $1215-$1516 for the cleaning and a bunch of extractions. I went to the THRIVE down the street for a second option and was quoted $300-$600. Obviously I went the cheaper option. During his dental cleaning his teeth weren't as bad as they originally thought so all he needed was a routine cleaning and one tooth repair only costing me $228. I went to this veterinarian based off of the reviews for Dr. Golden on a different Yelp page. After finding the Lake Murray Village Vet Yelp page I now realize that this used to the be office of Dr. Golden either he no longer works here or only does a couple of times a week. Also, part of the quote was a for a dew claw removal which I opted out of so you can knock $300 off the quote.

Today I took my dear 10yo German shepherd Dante for his annual shots. Me and him were full of anxiety, as my dog never liked going to the vet. Staff was very professional and understanding. They made clear what services I want and how much that would cost. Dante's visit was short and painless. I spoke to the veterinarian after shots and checkup and he told me how is my boy doing. They did not push me to do any extra services. I only payed What I came for. Good job guys, you earned new costumer!
