Everyone at Joe's Automotive, were very nice, honest and helpful. took my car for a diagnostic to see why it was acting up, unfortunately it was the transmission. Referred me to a transmission specialty shop and waved me the diagnostic charge. I would definitely return for any future car issues. Appreciated his honesty as it could of been a number of things that he could of charged me for, but he was honest and told me exactly the problem. Although bummed out, I appreciated knowing that the issue was major and not to be driving the car as it could stop working at any moment and cause a major accident on the roads harming myself and others.

Joe is PHENOMENAL. I moved to San Diego as a single woman and when my car started having issues I was taken advantage of by other mechanics overpricing and misdiagnosing everything. I found Joe and I will never, and I mean NEVER, let any one else touch my car. Joe has always done me right. He is kind, honest, hard-working, and he gets the job done RIGHT. His prices are very affordable, and it's nice to find someone who doesn't try to squeeze every penny out of you. He earned my trust the first day I met him and I will continue to recommend everybody to him. Thank you for what you do Joe!!! -Avery

I wouldn't even give this place one star, but I had no other choice. I brought my van here for a smog check & the mechanic looked under the van & told the owner Joe that my vehicle was stolen. He insisted that Joe contact the police. Then the owner saw I was carrying a designer handbag & made a vomment that I must have a lot of money. First of all, Joe should keep comments like that to himself. Secondly, I have the pink slip to my van. Luckily, they didn't have possession of my keys yet, so I left as soon as I could before they would try something. I had a real uneasy feeling about this place, so my advice is to steer clear away from Joe's Automotive.

I have now been to Joe's on two separate occasions with car troubles. Both times I paid exactly what they quoted me, the service was quick, and the mechanics have been professional and friendly.I can definitely see why they have a 4.9 star average and I can safely say I have found my local, trusted mechanic shop.

Joe is a close family friend and known him for over 20 yrs and he has been the only person I or my mom let work on our cars he is a honest and trustworthy guy. His work says it all always done right the first time and always reasonably when it comes to prices .I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOES AUTOMOTIVE

My 1996 Civic DX had an engine failure due to oil starvation, so I decided to have my engine rebuilt. The rebuild took around 4 weeks to complete, and so far it runs great with no issues at all. I will probably update this review after a few thousand miles.

Great place to get things done in a decent amount of time. I left feeling quite satisfied with the work that was done. I had the opportunity to have Joe fix my car and I give him two thumbs up. Great customer service, I can see myself becoming a loyal customer.

Dropped my car off at 10 in the am for a tire replacement and an oil change. They told me they'd call when it was finished. 5 hours later and still no call. So I called in and they said.. "Oh yeah, it's ready...". I go down there to pay and of course their CC machine "isn't working right now" and they told me I needed to go get cash. Very inconvenient.
