“This is a great hotel! I was in San Diego because my uncle was in the hospital. He wasn't doing much better by the end of our stay but Joseph the manager accommodated us and let us extend our stay for another week even tho they were full! The hotel beds were clean and comfortable. The gym was perfect for a good workout, and on-site laundry right across the hall was very convenient. The staff was friendly the coffee in the continental breakfast is bomb. If we need to stay again I'll definitely book here and for a fair price.”

“Best Motel 6 in San Diego, if not, California. BRAND NEW BUILDING, ALL NEW ROOMS.
All motel 6’s need these renovations. Most are run-down., especially the one in mission valley., don’t go to that one.
Anyway, this La Mesa on University location is the best., great room sizes. Feels like you’re at a Best Western and cozy.. A plus, coffee served 24/7., commercial coffee machine, not cheap! Great hotel and well worth the price!”

“The location is great to start with. Less than 5 minutes down the street is the Trolley station Green Line that can literally take you anywhere in San Diego area quickly or for a day trip to Little Italy or Old Town, it is so convenient! The truly best part of this property is the people though. The management, the customer service staff, everyone literally goes out of their way to try and make customers happy and whole. Owners/ managers were great about extending courtesy and understanding and desk manager went out of her way as if she was in our shoes. That's gold in my book and unheard of these days. The price was what we needed in an emergency but would have loved it for a weekend off and the courtesy and care we received we truly needed in the emergency. Thank you.”

“It's a typical Express catering to workers! We aren't at the top of the IHG brands priority list on accommodations or maintenance! Most of us staying there could fix and
repair it better than the " maintenance " people they have.”
