“I am myself deaf mom with a toddler, I am a bit disappointed. Most of workers who work there don't have deaf awareness. They need to because it's 2023. 80% of people who birthed deaf children and grew up independently and has applied for WIC so they can feed their children who are hungry. Deaf adult with a kid is working hard to provide and y'all doesn't have respect for deaf mom. A guy who works there at 1pm to 2pm and he gave me attitude cuz he doesn't understand what am I saying. I do NOT need to voice it for him, I said "APPLE JUICE" without the voicing. Just give me a break. You need to ask me first before you give me a the freaking attitude. I told him I'm deaf, please respect and have a patience cuz I have to keep eyes on my kids and can't take eyes off on my kids. Just wait until you make a eye contact. HAVE A SOME DEAF AWARENESS. Please. I love going there and it's my all the time lazy shopping when I don't have to walk for a mile at the store while I'm 8.5 month pregnant.”

“I found this place by doing a Google search for somewhere to buy wheatgrass juice and sunflower sprouts. I was able to get both at a great price. It was a little difficult for me to find, but I'm so glad I did. The owner is so kind and so helpful. He let me try the sprouts and the wheatgrass before buying them. He cut and juiced the wheatgrass right in front of me so super fresh! I will definitely be back.”

I must say that they have some of the best options and their employee Stephanie made my grandma and I feel extra special by showing us to the crackers when I asked where I could find a good gluten free cracker to pair with my cheese! Not only did she show us some options but she went above and beyond to help look for a cracker without flaxseed as I mentioned I was allergic. She was so sweet and we love her recommendation! She truly made the trip great. I also loved how this store had so many gluten free, dairy free, soy free options they have. “Whole Foods (in our lovely Hillcrest neighborhood) has always been a delightful place for fresher produce compared to local markets. Yes, many of us know the prices of some of the items. Still, many of their items are well-thought-out regarding reducing our carbon footprint and being conscious of sustainable products - AND they have an Amazon pick-up/drop-off station! This specific Amazon station can take oversized packages that most lockers can't accommodate due to package size restrictions of the items being ordered (e.g., King Arthur's round table - I'm only kidding). So, when stranded with cabin fever from being cooped up in the house for a few days, take a light jacket and your derrière to Whole Foods and stroll. You might just be surprised by the things that you can find there.”

As many have mentioned, not everyone can access this place. I definitely liked their sunglasses/shades department - for the $5 glasses deals and assortment of styles. Definitely saw better deals in shoes, clothing, bags, etc. I'm one that loves to shop for a good deal. If it's not a deal I consider good, consider my wallet closed. They had a couple of amusing packets of things - like those gifts to make your life easier. The best thing? Everything is tax free. Humongous parking lot. Pretty clean.”

A lot of the workers are in the back but available for a fresh cut of meat or bakery items. The produce is always fresh, many healthy options including a robust natural health section. The bulk items are a go to and often less expensive than packaged items even at larger stores.”
