Great spot for surf and skate gear. My only issue is that every time I see the owner walking around here he just makes awkward eye contact with you and makes me feel like im stealing shit. He looks like he is trying to keep a baseball in his butt.

I have read the negative reviews for this place. However, for me in terms of all SURF related products, it’s always been a positive experience. Just be very knowledgeable of the products you want to purchase and how much it costs online/other stores. Hangar 94 offers VERY good deals on all surf gear and boards. They also have an amazing selection on wetsuits and all surfboards. A lot cheaper than Birds Surf Shed or Surf Ride. Just know how much you’re willing to spend and if it makes sense to you and it’s a good deal then you will leave happy from this place. Will come back again for clothing or surf gear and even surfboards!

This place had some great deals for snowboard gear. Customer service was great and they set me up with a nice pair of new snowboard boots and goggles for a steal.

Excellent customer service! The guy from the staff helped a lot going though recommendations for starting skateboarding parts again after 10 years of not doing it :D my favorite skateboard shop! 10/10

Always the best spots for all my gear.
Even got my wife a full new setup boots, board, bindings, gloves, pants, jackets, googles, helmet.
She styling now! Thanks Hanger 94 keeping us fresh!

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but I find it odd (and frustrating) that a store which supposedly offers a “wide selection of snow gear” doesn’t carry anything ski related, only snowboards. When I searched for retailers on Google that sold skis, this place popped up multiple times. Even the big sign on the building says “Surf Skate Snow”. It’s probably not in their control how they show up in search listings, but their website is practically blank, so based on all of that, I had high hopes I found a local place with great ski gear. Big missed opportunity and feels silly to only offer board gear.

Surf and skate gear and apparel store. Large and well stocked. Prices comparable to shopping online. I can see what the other reviewers are saying about how they follow you around the store. If you want help and have questions it's good, but if you just want to browse on your own in peace, you may feel uncomfortable. I think that's how they deal with shoplifters, by keeping an eye on every customer. I guess I can understand that, since lately there's no law enforcement or consequence for criminals. They only do exchanges and no returns, but they have a sign on the wall that says they do returns, so I was confused about it at first. They should probably take down the sign. Right by the mall. Plenty of parking.

Amazing selection, but absolutely horrible refund policy. I bought a pair of snowboard boots, wore them for a day and found out that they were defective, but they refused to even give me store credit to buy another pair. I will never buy another thing from this store. And I should've listened to all of the other bad reviews.

Hanger and the management I dealt with deserve 0 stars. They initially said that they would help me with the snowboard boot company representatives to try to address the problem, but once they saw my post here on Yelp, they refused to do anything to solve the problem. So petty!
