“I truly appreciate the folks from Firearms Unknown. My husband wanted to get me a gun for my birthday which meant having to retake the FSC test again (the last time I took it was at a gun show how many years back).
When it was time to review, Laurie not only went through the answers with me, but she helped me understand which questions I got wrong and what my thought process was, walked me through picking my first gun, and went over all the safety with me (which is what all the staff do very well). I mention this albeit very obvious because Laurie made me feel confident as a new gun owner, and as a mom wanting to protect my little one. She is extremely personable and highly knowledgeable, with a passion to ensure that everyone that comes through their doors can walk out with a better appreciation for firearms.
All this to say, this will now be my go-to spot for all my firearm needs, thanks to Laurie and the team!”
“Me and my son have been back so he can shoot the FN SCAR. He loves coming here at least twice a week. It was hilarious how the range master saw my son walk in and the first thing he said was " We have something that you haven't shot yet". My son's eyes lite up and it was the SCAR. This place has always been a great place to spend family time shooting. The staff make it a great place to come to as well.”
“I have done multiple transfers with Don and his wife over the years. Other shops in the county don't compare to the service and value you get with Don. I was once an FFL myself in California, and really feel for these people as I understand how they are constantly and continually harassed and abused by our State's communist regime. Residents of the county need to support local FFL's because if we don't eventually we will have a corporate dominated retail gun industry in California that will be in a position to dictate pricing.”

“Went to the range with friends to try out their G19, G17 and XD45 since I was deciding between these options. The range was appointment was easy to set up and was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. After our session I looked around the store and Chandler helped me out. Great guy and super helpful. With no intention to purchase that day, I ended up purchasing an XD9 because the service was great and even priced matched with another LGS. Although it is a drive for me, customer service goes a long way with me and they have definitely earned a repeat customer. I'll be back soon to break in the new toy.”

“Customer service second to NONE! I called ahead and spoke with Eryk regarding a specific pistol. He was upfront and honest and very helpful. when I came into the store to look at the weapon, he was even more helpful. He gave me info and even further proof that I was purchasing quality, he showed me it was his weapon of choice for daily carry. Most guns stores have the "holier than thou" attitudes however, both Eryk and Zane were super knowledgeable of the current laws in CA and answered all questions regarding changes to the current laws (restrictions/bans/etc.) which made me, the customer feel right at home. Purpose: I was there to buy a gun. they could have easily just started the DOJ/CA background check/etc taken my money and sent me on my way, but they went out of their way to assist, answering other questions regarding AR's and pistols. Additionally, they showed me potential upgrades to the weapon I was purchasing and gave me the pros and cons of certain brands. Where most gun stores/dealers would gladly have you buy extra junk or parts you don't need or want, they gave me honest opinions even if it didn't benefit them. I was thankful for their customer service, and because of that I am a future customer.”
