I don't know what it is with San Diego thrift stores or if it's just California. What is with the pricing!! It's ridiculous. This is the only store that has nice quality and thrift store priced items. Closest store I've found to a *GEM*. Definitely come to this store so many good things. Still a bit on the pricey side but not too bad.

Most expensive Goodwill ever even more than Goodwill in La Jolla. People donate their household goods to low income folks and they price almost as much as retail.

Great place to donate stuff. Easy drive up drop-off & great, friendly staff. I think the current donation hours are 10-2 pm.

I love thrift stores. The Goodwill is a good cause, so I feel good about shopping here. Lately the prices have seemed much higher. I'm not sure why, but the merchandise is well organized and the store relatively clean with friendly staff. All-in-all still a fun experience.

Pretty average goodwill. Sometimes they have stuff, sometimes they don’t. Got this lit jacket so I can represent my favorite Central Asian nation???

This store usually has a few cool things. But , the last few times, they have had nothing. They used to have a ton of purses that were in the cabinets. Now I hear they mostly sell those online at auction. That sucks. I like to buy stuff on a whim when I have a little extra cash. Now they want me to go online and bid on the junk. Not really what i want to do.

Stopped in at this Goodwill on a Sunday evening around 4pm. There was a good number of people but not too crowded. It's pretty well organized, some of the "trendier" items up front and easy to sift through. Then everything else on the racks in the back, by size and color. I found 3 nice pieces, all for about $7. Dressing room was in use, but they person got out pretty quickly and I was next in line. Cashier at the front was pretty quick as well. Parking lot is big and easy to park.

Jackets, jeans and books are what I buy for myself or grandkids. I like browsing, too, and looking at pictures, etc. Employees are helpful and friendly.

I have donated items to this Goodwill pretty regularly throughout the past few years,. Usually, you pull up, someone helps you unload your items, and they give you a receipt. It worked out well, but sometimes I see them dumping the items into he large plastic bins in the parking lot, and I can tell they are just dumping possibly fragile items on top of each other. Just last week I donated some items for the first time in a long time. I dropped off a large bag of men's clothing, and a couple boxes of housewares. Though there were a couple of men working in the donation area, no one bothered to offer assistance. The bins were only vaguely labeled, so I asked which ones to use. I was mostly ignored by the one guy I approached who motioned toward a bin at the end. I am afraid that the box of good quality men's clothing will end up wrinkled and potentially unused. I carefully unloaded boxes of candles and dishes, but worry that heavier boxes will be dumped on top. of them. I was not offered a receipt, but they do have the booklets available and you can get one when you ask.I only once went inside this store. I was looking for items to put together my Halloween costume. It was super crowded when I went in, possibly due to others looking for costume items. The problem is that the place really stunk. It smelled strongly like sweaty socks. As soon as I saw they didn't have what I was looking for, I was happy to get outside quickly. I do not think I will ever go back in.As far as donations, I will only drop off junk that may not matter if is is broken. I will try other organizations for nice clothing and fragile housewares.

I've gone a few times and there is a woman I think is a volunteer who has been rude and unprofessional each time I've visited. Everybody else is very friendly but this woman makes your business look bad

i’ve been to this goodwill a handful of times and it’s probably one of the worst ones i’ve ever been to. this is the only goodwill that i feel like i’m followed around and watched everywhere i go. it’s a hit or miss whether you find good stuff but the selection typically isn’t great. it seems like there’s more energy to follow customers around than to sort / restock. i’ve seen the same sweater on the children’s rack for almost a year now. most of the people that work there are not pleasant and lack basic manners, especially the victorian child at the register. they don’t greet you and just seem miserable. not to mention a lot of the stuff is overpriced. saw a broken piece of furniture that they wanted almost $25 for…. two stars because i have found some cool things from this location but it does not make up for the overall experience walking in there.

We brought several boxes of clothing, electronic items and kitchenware. I made sure things were folded and package carefully. The attendant had us sort into his bins and he grabbed thing out of the boxes and threw them in the bins. Not only did we do his job but I’m sure some things were broken by his carelessness. We will be finding another place to donate in the future. A beautiful set of brass lamps that someone else had donated were thrown in a bin lampshades and all. There has to be a better way!!!

The people are great. The Store is very small, for the TONS of items they have in there. Shelves are stacked high with items on top of items. Very hard to shop. Very hard to park. REALLY REALLY WISH, Santee Goodwill would take over the now empty Best Buy Space. It's large, has great parking, and a convenient alleyway for dropping off those donations. And you don't give discounts! Vegas has 40% off and 50% off on different days. Do something special for your customers. Doing 10% only, is just being CHEEP!
