Undoubtedly the best boot cleaning I have experienced. I was shocked at how thorough of a job Gino performed - my dress shoes literally looked better than they did out of the box. Much better!
This is the first review, positive or negative, I have ever left. And it is well deserved. If you need a trustworthy, and credible professional to handle your expensive boots or dress shoes, Gino is your man. You’ll thank me later!

Great service and quality work. We had zippers replaced on a canvas bag. Very thankful they were able to accommodate a rushed timeline as we were leaving town for a few months.

I struggle to find shoes in size 13. I told Gino that I am about to go on my mission and need dress shoes that I could walk a lot in. Gino found me some good quality walking shoes that are beautiful and come in size 13. Gino also shipped my shoes to Canada since I was only visiting California for a little bit. Thanks for everything Gino. My experience was awesome, I will definitely be buying more from you again!

I needed a leather vest sewed and looked for a shop that could do the work. The great reviews for Gino's Shoes plus the location at Grossmont Mall sinched it. He did the work while I waited and charged me a fair price. He was kind and friendly. If needed, I will use Gino's again!

Very friendly staff, work completed as promised. So happy with the new zipper (found by them to match) on my very old bag and the new soles on my Birkenstocks, both have been brought back to life!!

I really really want to give these guys an amazing review because they seem so kind, genuine and so many people say so many amazing things about them, plus Gino & Leo are extremely friendly… However, 3 out of 3 times I’ve come to pick up my shoes or boots and everytime (even when they call me to say they are ready) the job hasn’t been done or done properly. So I end up waiting a minimum of 30 minutes for them to do a rushed job on the spot, even to my detriment since one time they damaged my boots and I had to send them back to be redone, which again wasn’t done (even tho they called me 2xs to say come pick them up) and I’m now waiting again for them to be done on a day where I have a crazy busy schedule.I’m usually left wondering what they did and how much of the job they completed or if all of it was done in these rushed few minutes while I’m waiting. I always have a pleasant time chatting with Leo in the meantime, but on days like today it’s extremely frustrating. These are really wonderful humans, that’s why I kept coming to them, but sadly I haven’t had a single wonderful outcome to date. This (pics below) is my result after a promise of a real nice Conditioning and polishing that will leave them with a like-new appearance.I really appreciate Leo always trying to take care of me in those few rushed moments like today, working hard to polish by hand… But now I’m stressed and might not make it to my event on time.

I’ve brought both my work Timberlands and my dress Timberland boots here and they do a fantastic job. I had some toe stitches repaired and resin sealed on one pair of work boots and resin on the seam of a new pair to prevent it from happening to them as well. Just brought in my 10 year old black Timberlands for a deep clean and got them back today looking brand new with a fresh pair of laces on the house. Great service and a local small business. Win win.

I had gone to a handful of shoe repairs and all of them said my shoe was not repairable. I came to Gino's and he took care of my shoes and did a amazing job. Now I'm able to use a pair of 13 year old sneakers again as new. I'll definitely be bringing all my stuff here and sending customers to him as well.
