If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid the FedEx in La Mesa like the plague. Iāve had three separate high-value packages sent through hereāall tampered with, all stolen. Items were clearly removed from inside sealed boxes, and this location was the common denominator every time. This isnāt a coincidence. This is a pattern.
I blame myself for not catching on sooner. Shame on me for trusting this place after the first theft. But shame on FedEx for allowing what clearly feels like an internal theft ring to operate unchecked. If you think your insurance or tracking number protects you, think again. Theyāll tell you it was ādeliveredā and act like youāre the problem, not their broken system.
Iām not talking about lost envelopes or minor items. Iām talking about multiple hundreds of dollars gone, boxes clearly opened or resealed, and zero accountability. Surveillance footage? Useless. FedEx support? A joke. The people here either donāt care or are in on it.
Youāve been warned. Donāt drop off anything valuable hereāhell, donāt even drop off dog treats.

Some employees here have room temp IQ. Something always ends up wrong when using this place, but this last event is where I canāt deal with it anymore.

Had an unexpected shipment to make, needed to drive over and purchase a label in-store to ship out a package.
Got there, asked to purchase a label, then asked the employee if I can purchase a return label so that the recipient can send back their old item in the same box. Simple request.
All is paid for and I walk away as they say theyāll print out the labels and send it off, specifically stating the return label will be placed in the box. Couple days later, the package arrives back at my door, with the recipients shipping label and the items I packed to be sent to them.
The genius at FedEx used the RETURN label instead of the first shipping label, so I just paid for a package to be sent to meā¦. Now I have to re-send this package out to the recipient, and get ANOTHER return label.

I went there to ship a package. I saw there was a kiosk but my package was too big to ship with it so I waited at their desk for shipping. One person ignored me and talked to someone who came after me about someone who worked there. Another employee came out and walked right by me and didnāt acknowledge I was there. Mind you there was only myself and one other person there. It was a pain in the ass because I am 39 weeks pregnant so I just left. I would rather go to another location and drive out of my way than give this location my business.

Item was stolen during delivery from storeā¦. Losing over $500 dollars from this stores delivery process. Wouldnāt recommended using this store at all, very shady. Thank you for stealing from an older nurse.
Item was not delivered and opened when box arrived. I even paid for a special box and as you can see it starts with the packaging job. Not packed well at all and paid extra.

Trash!! Company! Flat out told me a fragile sticker is just to
Make you feel better. They don't follow it. In fact what they do is crush your package that has this label. Don't Trust them not worth it.

Based on my inability to get through to a person via your automated telephone system I give you one star because it is near impossible - actually I've never gotten through successfully ever since your system has changed and it is highly frustrating. If I want to speak to a person I want to speak to a person not a machine, period.
