Honestly I am very disappointed and repulsed with Dr. Mayer as a healthcare professional. I am convinced that he is racist and lacks empathy. I have a rare condition and have been in and out of the hospital. Each visit minimal eye contact, repetitive, and redundant. After numerous labs I still have no answers. I know these things can take time but to not discuss any preventative measures outside of medication and put no effort to help outside of that is unacceptable. Due to the lack of care I inquired about a second opinion and abruptly walked out before I could finish my questions. It was very evident that he did not care. So unmistakable. I was left distraught in tears because I really need help and he let his ego get the best of him. This is people’s lives, time, and money that you are messing with. Absolutely disgusting I am reporting this to the medical board it will not end here. Go elsewhere save yourself.

I had excellent care from Dr. Dean Mayer in diagnosing my arthritis and choosing a treatment that worked well for me. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Dr Dean Mayer is brilliant. Since being referred to him he has been excellent in diagnosing, explaining my options in care, and his knowledge in his area of expertise is superb.
When I visit him it’s apparent he has taken the time to read through my medical file and knows what is currently going on with me medically. He takes time to understand, asks questions and provides valuable professional feedback.
I truly admire him and enjoy having him as my practitioner. I wish all doctors were as thorough as him.

I have never had a negative experience with Dr Mayer and his team. From my initial consult to now , have always been a positive experience. As a nurse for the past 29 years- I can honestly say Dr. Mayer is a blessing to his speciality. He actively listens, allows you the time to ask questions and explains all available options. What I love the most, he includes you in the treatment plan. He doesn’t just tell what “he’s” going to do. I’m thankful I was referred to him.

Dr. Mayer and his staff are very professional. Dr. Mayer went through all the labs and explained any changes the results indicated. His recommendations along with my input were discussed and considered before further treatment was scheduled. His care is an important part of my medical future. Thanks.

Dr Mayer is the best! Him and nurse Jasmine always take their time to explain all options and recommendations to make sure I am fully comfortable with my care. I’ve gone to a few rheumatologist that don’t seem to look through your medical history and seem to rush through appointments and I’ve never felt that way with Dr. Mayer. I highly recommend him!
