Childtime has been a complete blessing for my family. Both my children started childtime early, my daughter at 2 years old and my son at 6 months. Every part of the staff here cares deeply and is able to meet the varying needs of each child, parent, and overall family. I feel so grateful that we found a day care that provided so much support and that we truly trust with the most important things in our life.

I wish I was told much sooner that there is a significant waitlist.

Horrible customer service, I have waited 2-3 weeks to have a virtual tour meeting with them just for them to not show up to the meeting. This is the second time this happened. Now I'm waiting 2-3 weeks longer to have an in person tour hopefully that goes well I mean what could happen then right? Not get the door opened ?

$532/wk for a 21 month old. That's $27,664/year! Over $2,300 on average per month. I'm posting this review for two reasons, the first being that that is just insane and the second being that it is so hard to even get that information, that I want to save other people from wasting their time.

I don't understand the bad reviews here. My baby goes here and I honestly cannot think of a better school For her. And I tour a lot of schools. The teachers (Miss Gabby and Miss Monica) are such wonderful and loving teachers. The directors are super helpful and loving. I couldn't ask for a better school for my baby. She is always so happy at school.

I appreciate that someone from Childtime responded to the review on Yelp, but it still doesn't seem possible to get someone on the phone (especially from this Childtime center). I called the number listed (the national customer service line), left a message, and no one called me back.

Our daughter is thriving here. The staff is wonderful and she is learning so much! She loves going to see her friends and her teachers and she's constantly showing off new skills she's learned there. They are very communicative and have so many activities and enrichment. They have been extremely good during covid making sure to prevent any outbreaks and keeping parents informed. The only problem we had was initially getting in. It's notoriously hard to find a good daycare, but it helped a lot to know someone with a child already at the daycare. We were initially worried our child was more difficult than normal and would be a problem, but they are true professionals and never had any real issues. We are very happy with the quality of care here.

Such a great program! My daughter spent here two years. The teacher are professional. The director is very supportive. My daughter spent most of her time with preschool rooms and she has developed most of her language learning throughout those classes.

My daughter only had the pleasure of being in the infant room with Miss Alma and Miss Nashley but the entire staff is great. Everyone is super friendly and polite. When I would drop off in the mornings they would tell the older kids being bussed to school “make good choices today” or “tell someone you don’t know something nice” which I think is a great example of the daycare as a whole. Alma and Nashley have a lot of experience and they taught my daughter so much while she was there. My daughter would jump into their arms every morning and when your kid can’t tell you how their day was, it’s comforting to see how much she loved being with them. I still miss her teachers and am so sad we moved out of state because that would have remained our only choice for daycare.

This is by far one of the best daycares/pre-schools around. Both of my kids went here since they were about 3or4. I absolutely love the place and would recommend it to any and all parents over pretty much any other daycares/preschools in the are.

My daughter has been attending Childtime La Mesa coming up on a year now and it has been a great choice. We started her here at 6 months after researching and visiting other daycare centers. We chose this location based on a number of things, primarily the infant room and staff since that is where we were starting her out. When my daughter started attending, aside from being nervous about our first daycare experience, she was still breastfeeding. We worked out a breast milk feeding schedule with them and also gave special instructions on how to feed her so it reinforced the breastfeeding at home. They really did a good job. My wife was able to keep our daughter on breast milk through the first year. We've also worked with them on the transition to solids and weening off of pacifiers. The staff has just been wonderful with my daughter. They create an environment where she can interact and learn with other kids which is important to us since she has no siblings at home. I usually pick her up and sometimes I will observe what goes on. She is laughing and talking and playing and going a mile a minute. When we are ready to leave, she has to go around and say good-bye to Alma, Nasha, Alex, Celia, Michele, Cristina, Deanne, whoever else is in our path, which reaffirms to me Childtime is right for my daughter.

Our son started at Childtime when he was 1.5 yrs old, and he is now almost 3. I went to a number of different day care centers before we decided on childtime and I have been very happy with our decision. The facility is very well organized, very clean and safe, and the teachers are all wonderful. The activities are well thought out and I love all the artwork that comes home. My son can already count to 15, knows his letters and comes home singing new songs all the time. They provide great structure in terms of routines that are very important for him.

As a Child Development professional, I was extremely picky when deciding where to send my son for daycare. After being at home with a nanny for the first year and half of his life, I was unexpectedly forced to find new child care for my son. I looked at several home day cares, church-based centers and "chain" child care centers. After touring Child Time, I was feeling pretty certain that we would choose them, but what really sealed the deal for me was when I found out that one of my mentors was the Director of the school. I know that she holds very high standards for safety, providing rich curriculum and, most importantly, ensuring nurturing and loving environment for children. I wasn't expecting to choose a "chain" type of center, but I have to say that it really gives me a lot of comfort knowing they are held to very high safety compliance standards and are accountable to a higher authority when providing care to my child (unlike a home daycare or nanny). Now that my first born is three-and-a-half, I have never questioned our decision to have him at Child Time. He started off as a very anxious toddler (with an anxious mother too) and now he has really settled in as a confident and playful little boy who loves going to school! He has lots of great little buddies, LOVES his teachers and is learning SO much! I have no doubt that this is laying a great foundation for Kindergarten and beyond. We also chose to send our second baby boy there when he was just a few months old. I am able to stay home with him full-time now, which is the only thing I consider better than having him at Child Time! We can't wait for him to re-join the Child Time family again when he is ready for preschool though!

I love Childtime, after months of searching for a daycare I finally found Childtime and once I took the tour I knew it was the one. The staff is VERY friendly, the front door is a lock code so you have a personal code to get it and I think it's great because not just anyone can walk in, and they keep the center VERY clean. They keep a monthy calendar in the front to let you know what your Child will be eating for breakfast, lunch and snack time. Also every child gets a my day sheet to take home letting you know what they did that day, what they ate and how much. You can just tell the staff really care about the kids. My daughter and I are ALWAYS greeted with a smile. My daughter LOVES her teachers and talks about them constantly. Everyday I pick her up she has to make her rounds and say good bye and give hugs to the staff. So seeing that lets me know that she is in good hands
