I once witnessed a customer had his debit card swallowed by one of the atm machine here on the weekends, so the bank was closed, he left his card hanging on the slot right after cashing some money but he had to take a call on the phone, wow I felt so badly cause he asked for my help, and I had no way to. Anyway the bank located on the left corner of the intersection, the other side would be the freeway and one side is the big shopping mall, so getting here during rush hour will be hard, just to make that left turn. My recent experience here was to find new $100 bills from the place, neither the banker nor the atm machine had any decent ones, the banker tried, but couldn't find any good looking bills, I tried the atm, but it gave me even worse ones. It has a big bank vault inside, but the bills just came out bad, beat up, wrinkled somewhat. I just couldn't use them if I traveled abroad because the currency exchange there was super anal about ugly bills, I will have to go back to other Chase locations to change them.

Please update yelp hrs to mimic hrs of operation. Normally don't come on a Saturday so was relying on yelp. Got here at 3:30pm and this location closes at 2pm Vs. 4pm. It was a little frustrating to rush from across town to pull up and the banks already closed.

Overall the banking experience was just bad (& kind of uncomfortable). I walked in and there were 4 associates staffed. 2 were chatting on the teller line and did not make eye contact or greet me- which is weird since working in a bank you'd think in their security training it would be one of the first things they'd be instructed to do. 1 was sitting at a desk with a customer and another at the other end of teller row sitting down with a customer who actually smiled and waved to my son and I- the customer, not any Chase Bank associate. We stood in line and waited while the 2 ladies carried on their conversation. It was not until 3 more people arrived behind me that they stopped and called me to a window. While waiting the lady behind me stated she never had a good experience there and waited every single time while the lobby was empty. She said it best when she said that people don't care about customer service anymore. Edit: This is for the Chase Bank in La Mesa on Grossmont Center Drive

Parking lot is horrible and no security personnel present. Cars entering through exit and reckless drivers trying to cut you off in small space parking lot. This place deteriorated so fast unfortunately.

I love this branch. The problem stems from only having one teller on duty when they open. The people are very nice, but, I am getting older and it's hard for me to stand for long periods of time.

First of all, the bank branch does not take phone calls so you have no one to speak to except Custmer Service which after you've given them all the info they ask for, you're luck to speak to someone that you can understand with still no satisfaction at the end.
