I LOVE MY HAIR!! I booked an appointment for color and extensions and let me tell you I could not be happier! This is the best experience I've had with getting extensions after trying other methods. Alexis is awesome! I will definitely be coming back to get my hair styled, cut, and anything else need be!!

I have been going to Alexis for curly haircuts for the last five years! I have trust issues with stylists cutting too much length and I have NEVER walked out of her salon disappointed.
She has always given me the shape that I wanted. Alexis really takes the time to listen to my concerns before she begins cutting and she has a wealth of knowledge about curly hair. If I show her a picture from the internet, she is able to really explain how it will look on me(based on my unique curl pattern) before she starts cutting.

bad experience..color did not color the gray, hair was cut so short I can't cover my gray roots. Will never go there again. What disappointment! At least I have my wig!

I came here last month to give my neglected curls some TLC. Alexis was so sweet and her salon was such a lovely space to spend a couple of hours. And WOW I'm still smiling about this haircut a month later! I wish I took a before/after because it's pretty incredible what she was able to do. I went from having my hair tied up in a bun most days to wearing my hair down and loving it. Thank you!!

I went to Chanel’s Hair Boutique for the first time this week. The boutique was clean and organized and the owner Alexis and her mom were so friendly and welcoming. Mylen gave me a rezo cut transformation and rezo lites. She was AMAZING!! She listened to everything I asked and was very professional throughout the whole process. She truly found the highlight that fit my complexion and I can’t stop looking at the color!! She even taught me a styling trick that I could easily replicate at home. The cut she gave me made my curls bouncier and fuller. Overall, Mylen was a 20 out of 10 and is a master at her craft!! I can’t wait to see her again!

I've been meaning to do this review for a while! Alexis is the only stylist in SD that I trust with my curls. I came to her desperate after a horrible bleach job 1+ yr ago led to hair loss, flat curls, etc. We did a BIG cut & my curls bounced right back. They are SO luscious & bouncy I'm still in awe every day! My most recent session we did a shadow root to blend with my blonde & it looks incredible. If you have a vision Alexis will absolutely help it come to life! Thank you for saving my hair

Went to see Alexis a couple weeks ago for color. I forgot to mention in my previous review that Alexis is a curl and color specialist. She knows exactly what I like and mixes the most beautiful color for my hair. People always ask me what color it is and I receive constant compliments. Thanks again Alexis. Also a special thank you to Elaine for her magical hair oil I cannot live without!! I don't know what's in it but it's amazing. It really does promote healthy hair and skin AND helps with hair growth. I've been using it for a couple years and it's a staple in my hair care.

Alexis is an artist and the only stylist I trust with my curls. She is also a color expert and a true professional. Her Deva cuts have transformed my frizzy waves into shiny, bouncy curls. Most importantly, parking is easy and the salon is open on Saturdays which allows me to schedule appointments around my busy work schedule. I recommend Chanel's Hair Boutique to everyone I know with wavy or curly hair!

Alexis did an amazing job making my hair look fabulous! Elaine's Mane Oil is a great product for curly and straight hair. When I use it my curly hair feels so hydrated and my straight hair feels so healthy. I recommend this product if you're trying to grow thick healthy hair.

Alexis is a miracle worker! I just got a Deva Cut here yesterday, and my hair looks amazing! My hair stays pretty frizzy in the dry air, but Alexis was able to bring my curls back to health. I'm a wash-and-go person and like minimal time to deal with my hair. She gave me some great education and tips on what to do, which I greatly appreciated. Also, she really takes her time, and is super friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend this salon for curly folks like me!

I had my hair cut here for the first time here last week with Mylene. I got the Reza cut and she really knew what she doing! My curls look so good and defined! I love my haircut and Mylene was so nice and made me feel comfortable while there. She took her time, gave me advice for my hair and even my daughters curls. I am so mad that I barely found her when I am moving. I will definitely be back when I come to San Diego to visit. It is hard to find a curl stylist and Mylene was great!!!

Alexis is simply amazing. She is the owner of the salon and truly runs a professional business. She is so talented and has a wide variety of skills and options. She can do everything ! Sew ins, units, great short hair cuts, color...you name it. I have been seeing Alexis for years and she never disappoints. Highly highly recommend!
