“I had wonderful experience shopping here for a Marine Corps Ball gown! Hollie was so helpful in bringing me options for gowns to try on, and she helped me to find the perfect gown so quickly! They have a wide range of gowns and styles, with prices ranging from $90 to $600+ (the lower end is for what looks to be used gowns, and all the pricier gowns are by name brands like Sherri Hill). I appreciate that they have a military discount for ball gowns! I found the perfect gown that was in my budget for a decent price, while still looking beautiful and sophisticated.”

“Overall the White Flower did a very good job with my bridal gown alterations. Mary, my seamstress, was great to work with, and the hem and bustle on my gown looked amazing and stayed secure throughout my wedding and reception. The prices were also very reasonable compared to other alterations shops in the area. One frustrating part of the experience though was the amount of appointments - I had 4 total just to get a hem and bustle done - and there was a lack of flexibility to move the appointments when needed. Since I moved to San Francisco towards the end of my wedding planning process it was hard for me to schedule times to get to San Diego for my appointments, and I didn't feel that the White Flower was sensitive or accommodating to that. But besides this, they got the job done well and took good care of my gown, and I'm grateful for Mary's hard work to help me look my best for my wedding!”

“Lucy Pearl Bridal was the first shop that I went to for my wedding dress, and although I did not end up choosing one of their dresses, I had the most incredible experience. The space is so intimate and inviting. Ariana was so kind and welcoming throughout the entire appointment. My sister had passed away three weeks prior to my appointment and, naturally, I was having a hard time. When I told Ariana this, she gave me a hug and talked with me. I cannot emphasize how supportive and kind she was; not just to me, but also to my family who attended the appointment with me. I ended up finding the most perfect dress, it was just not my size (I am a bridal size 0, the dress was a bridal size 12). I still wanted to make it work and Ariana and Lauren went out of their ways to help. Ariana told Laurent the situation and they were able to offer a discount for the dress. After the appointment, Lauren offered to take the dress to a seamstress to find out if altering the dress to my size was possible/what the price would be. She was texting with me throughout the day with updates. Mind you, I had not spent any money. I had not spent money to place the dress on hold, yet, they still worked to help get me the dress. At the end of the day, I ultimately decided against purchasing the dress and getting it altered. I was so nervous to let Lauren know, but she was completely understanding of the situation; regardless of the fact that her and Ariana went out of their ways to assist me and I did not end up buying the dress. If there is any shop to recommend, it is Lucy Pearl Bridal. Their dresses are gorgeous, but the service is unmatched. Lauren and Ariana made this experience so wonderfully perfect and I could never thank them enough. If you are looking for your wedding dress, give Lucy Pearl a chance. It is the most perfect bridal shop.”

“I have been using this dry cleaning and alterations place for 11 years and Mona & Abe were always there with a smile and always complied to my husbands weird requests with his clothing. Joe & Carolina are the new owners and we couldn't be more happy to have them as our favourite dry cleaners. I've recently taken in older clothing to be dealt with and they've done a marvellous job. I had cream slacks taken in, with a zipper replacement and it was fantastic and when I wore them to Church, I had many many compliments. “Both, sad and happy I came here. Sad that I did not know about this place sooner and could not be happier with the experience. Both the dress shop owner and the seamstress are the sweetest women. Very warm and helped me as I took my challenging toddler and 6 month old baby to look for a baptismal gown. She has the cutest baby boots for the charro outfit.
This is a one spot shop. With so many mom & pop shops that have closed in National City that used to sell party favors. Here I can buy the baptismal candle set and a variety of rosary’s for my recuerdos.
Also, might be the best place to find a quince gown & fit for the chambelan. The prices blew my mind! Don’t be snobby and think Chula Vista is the only place in town for your special events. Unless you want to over pay. ?
FYI: They are the same people who used to be at Price Breakers.”

“Prior to coming to the galleria, we had already gone to multiple shops to find the perfect style and color suit/tuxedo for my soon-to-be husband and his groomsmen. We had no idea on which style and color to choose from but this shop had so many options to choose from. They had more colors and styles available compared to other shops. They also had unique styles/color bow ties and pocket squares. We were looking for a more of a spring look (lighter colors) and we found that the tan color fit them so well. Betty was super helpful and very patient with us. The shophours already ended but she still chose to help us in anyway she can (“and she stayed until the end. “I got the most gorgeous Wtoo by Watters dress from Winsome Brides for my wedding! On top of that, I lucked out and got it at a super discounted price ($500!!) with the tags still on and no alterations.
The consultant, Andrea, was super nice and accommodating. She did a great job at listening to what I liked/didn’t like in the dresses and selected the dress I ended up purchasing. She was also good at handling the different personalities at my appointment and making sure I wasn’t pressured into a dress I didn’t love.
Highly recommend making a dress appointment at Winsome Brides. It was so nice to buy my dress at a great price and take it home right away, versus spending $$$$$ and waiting for the dress to be made.”
