Classy luxury hotel - From the pleasant and professional check in with Julia at the front desk -to the courteous bell staff and smooth restaurant service - this hotel is a unique gem with incredible views and a small hotel feel.

Terrible customer service. From the front desk to the manager.
I have read their policies on their website and they still said no to my request even though what I had asked for permitted it.
Never will I ever come here again!

The Lodge is a beautiful property with amazing views. Most of the staff are terrific, but the ones who aren't ended ruining what started off to be a stellar experience. AR Valentien is amazing; however, a number of their hosts maintain very pompous attitudes. The food is terrific though and if Tyler can serve you you will not be disappointed. Service at the pool bar and the Grill is sporadic at best. The course is great, the pool area is lovely - but for this price the service needs to be significantly upgraded especially at the eateries.

While we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is the lack of selection of menu items at the pool and the 2 grills located at the Lodge. Very few GF options the menu at the pool is totally boring . The space by the pool Spa needs some work very old . Only a few of the water jets worked correctly.
Parking is very tight with small spots. Employees were all Very nice. Rooms are very clean. The work out Gym was very nice with great new equipment. The grounds were very well maintained.
The Hilton resort next door was scary it looked abandoned from the beach side of the resort.

Beautiful views of the golf course & ocean. Spacious rooms are well appointed. Staff is very friendly & accommodating.
Food & drinks: The food was great and the servers were friendly & efficient. The food & drink service at the pool was exceptional with personable servers who were very attentive.

We booked Torry Pines Lodge last minute so we could visit our son’s new Apple building work place and wanted to celebrate his job !
We all fell in love with the architecture, early California arts and crafts style and the gardens that surrounded it. Our son was so excited to be able to golf as well!
We rode the e-bikes to La Jollya Shores, I took the morning hike Sunday and we all enjoyed the pool! Everything was absolutely perfect!

I went to the San Diego area for the first time and stayed in 3 different hotels and areas. My boyfriend had previously stayed at the lodge and knew I would love it there. It was our final stop on our trip and we stayed 2 nights in a Palisade suite. We arrived early and we're greeted by friendly staff who promptly opened my door and retrieved our bags. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room was available for an early check in. The room was very clean and spacious with a gorgeous view of the golf course and ocean. The bar staff was just so much fun and attentive and made the stay so enjoyable! Thank you to Tia, Kesha, Bella and Marcus for the laughs, great conversation and the best drinks on the West coast! The food is spectacular, we had breakfast and lunch on property and it was excellent both times. They offer a car service that was great so we didn't have to Uber into LaJolla. Both drivers were great and personable but Aaron went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. Everyone on staff was so accommodating and friendly, they really make the lodge what it is! I've stayed in beautiful places in the past where my experience was destroyed by bad staff, but here they truly made it so incredible. I would definitely recommend this lodge and will come back and stay longer. Even if you can't stay go and try a specialty drink or their cheeseburger! Thank you all so much for an amazing stay!

This was my third time staying at The Lodge. They always exceed my expectations with their 5 star/diamond service coupled with genuine friendliness. The spa is exceptional. I have been to spas around the world and they truly have the best of the best staff for massages, facials, and nail services. Everyone at the spa front desk and locker rooms are very friendly and helpful. I haven't tried their newest spa treatments yet but look forward to doing so. The hotel grounds are impeccable, housekeeping is always flawless, and the design is warm and comfortable. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I am not a golfer and we chose The Lodge at TP b/c of the location to Del Mar & La Jolla. As a picky NYer & well traveled I did not expect much.
Turns out an amazing experience! Cool hotel w/ a lot of history. We read a bad review from someone from LA. They were so wrong. The hotel seems
like a landmark and away from the buzz. Everything was beautiful. Loved this middle room in the lobby to have coffee.
Lisa Marie the concierge was fantastic organizing food, pool, car, driver & whatever I asked she helped 1000%.
Wish more vegetarian healthier options at the Grill.
Parking was easy. Everything ran smoothly.
Even the spa was great! We are 100% returning to the Lodge! Thank you!
Rooms: We were upgraded and thought it would have been bigger. Still a nice size single room with a balcony. The porch light was broken and could not be fixed.
Nearby activities: University SD, shopping a short ride to Del
Mar, La Jolla
Safety: Felt very safe. I could tell the undercover security was there.

Never got past the stupid parking at this hotel. What fool thinks it's ok to have half the parking places as rooms, so there are never any spaces available. What fool thinks it's ok to have 7-foot-wide parking spaces, so your car gets dinged by other cars. What fool thinks it's ok to have curbs stick out in the garage to damage your wheels. Left this over-priced trap after seeing the idiotic parking.
