It's confusing to navigate unless you've been there before.

We really enjoy living here. It's really quiet, and there's a shuttle that comes every 15 min that goes up to campus. Management is very hands-off (in a good way), and maintenance requests are filled within 24 hours. The biggest cons are that it isn't as well lit as other parts of grad housing and there's regular bike theft and occasional break-ins of first floor apartments. I haven't seen any cars broken into, despite that being a regular occurrence on La Jolla parking garages, but better security would be fantastic. There's also not any AC, which management will say isn't needed because of the "cool La Jolla breeze" despite them having AC units in their own offices. If you get a contract to a unit and you're worried about the heat, keep in mind that units facing southwest are going to be the warmest. Our utility bill is around $125 monthly.

Specious apartments for students. Can get a bit hot in the summer.

Cars are broken into, bikes constantly stolen, posted parking limits are 24/7 but only enforced m-f 7am-4pm. Good luck on getting your mail and packages.

There are many good things about this apartment complex. The apartment complex is nice and quiet with very little noise from neighbors. That being said, it is anything but cheap. They must have raised their prices significantly because I am currently going broke trying to pay $2,160 per month as a full time student. The school should be ashamed of themselves.

Honestly cheapest you’re going to get in grad housing aside from mesa. Decent size, apartments have patios and that is a great commodity. You can hear highway noise but honestly it’s not bad. Will live here until they tell me I need to leave.

Fantastic place to live if your study at UCSD. Surrounded by canyon, use the shuttles, great campus additions.

Just a question. If a package is sent via mail (USPS or UPS), how does the tenant receive it?

Located next to Interstate 5, this is a convenient and affordable housing options for UCSD graduate students. You can commute by walking or biking to ucsd campus which is located across the freeway on the west side. It has all the basic facilities and a huge multistory parking complex next to it.

We lived at OMS from 1/2018 to 7/2019. We have nothing but praises living here and only moved out because my husband graduated. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our time here. The sister apartment (Mesa Nueva) next to us had awesome amenities that we had access to such as gym, pool/jacuzzi, and the Rough Draft Brewing Pub. The Pub had a beautiful sitting area outside with a fireplace, plenty of seating, and a few games.

My room mate was a hoarder who had lived in the same apartment for six years. The living conditions were horrid and one Miramar management didn't help at all. They gave me the option to move out, even though I was not the source of the filth I was forced to move into, and this "option" meant no accountability of the hoarder and would have resulted in another person having to live in the same situation when I vacated. Nice going punishing the victim and not addressing the source of the problem! Great work on your part. Dont live in these apartments if you can help it because the management sure as hell won't help you or anyone else!

1. The mail code is 92092 which belongs to ucsd, so the university staff will use their mail service truck to deliver your mail in the afternoon mostly.2 price is 672$ per month, which is affordable3 parking structure is big enough and free4.washer is 1.25$ and dryer is $1.005.the university will update your address automatically if you live on campus, you can use your balance to pay for housing6.internet is stable and free. Not like Mesa Nueva7.leasing office will give free food from time to time.Overall really good place to live.

Decent place to live, affordable. But no air conditioning, makes the apartment humid. No bath tub, small space, washers and dryers always break, and the maintenance doesn't give you an ETA. Kind of unprofessional. I would give this place 5 stars, but there are more cons than pros.Edited to 2 stars, people leave their stuff in the washer for a very long time and not pick them up. There are other people that need to do their laundry, and people are inconsiderate and take up 6 washers at a time and just leave them there for hours at a time.
