Went for my teenager's school sports physical. Checked in five minutes before the appointment time (the scheduling systems asks for check in ten to fifteen minutes before the appointment.) Waited about twenty-five minutes to be called in. The NP quickly got to the paperwork and the exam. She was a bit brisk at first, but warmed up after we understood and appreciated her effort. The NP explained that she was running solo on weekends and was getting slammed by walk-ins asking for vaccination shots. She over apologized when she stopped to hand the next client some test supplies. She caught and corrected a mistake in the paperwork. She heard my wife making a comment to my son about his health and stepped in with an explanation. So despite the wait and "being rushed", it was not a bad experience. And I got what the school wanted for $74, versus the $130 quote from the neighborhood Urgent Care. So five stars...

I was charged in person for CPT codes that my insurance covers (verified with multiple insurance reps), even though the nurses told me they checked and it wasn't covered (lying?).Now I've spent a lot of time trying to get my reimbursement. Since the MinuteClinic is appointment only and has no phone number, the CVS rep on the phone said I should make an appointment for a vaccine I don't need just so I can talk to someone in person.

I went to the Minute Clinic a couple months ago to get a rapid strep test. The NP, Anna Nelson, tested me for strep and told me it was negative. Then she proceeded to tell me she didn't know what else to do and wanted to have me return in two weeks to follow up, all while I couldn't swallow water because my throat hurt so bad. I decided to get a second opinion and go to urgent care and they told me I tested positive for strep....Now I am being billed over $100 for literally nothing. Don't go here...

The worst. Rude as it gets. Says it closes at 7 yet the gal says after 6:15 they don't take appointments.

Doctor Kudulis was very professional and responsible. And the costs were reasonable.

Dr Deanna was very rude dr to me and completely overcharged me the highest price and looked at me for about two seconds Be aware. I went to another minute clinic in and she charged me the lowest price- and she took her time and did a full body check and was way kinder. Etc. would not recommend if you get this dr.She also misdiagnosed me :(

Outrageous costs. You want to charge me $70 extra for a "consult", which consists of a nurse reading out loud four paragraphs from cdc.gov? No.Rude, barely-competant staff. When I asked who there was higher up I could talk to about my issue, the nurse told me there was simply NOBODY I could talk to. At Minute Clinic there are no supervisors, no managers, no doctors - just one nurse in a small room doing their job poorly. Rest assured that a nurse at Minute Clinic can do ANYTHING to you or your family, and you will have absolutely nobody to talk to or seek recourse from.EDIT: Went back again because my insurance is terrible and I had to. The second time I had a different nurse and everything was fine. I think, at the La Jolla location, you should just make sure you get one of the young nurses, and if an old lady named Deana is working then come back another day.
