“If you are a huge fan of French cuisine, like I am and want to dine at home, then Eurofood Depot Gourmet Market is for you! Located in the business area of Miramar or Mira Mesa, this tiny little market sponsored by the French society of San Diego carries authentic, shipped from France merchandise at somewhat reasonable prices. I have been shopping here for several years, and I am always happy with the quality of their products; the freshness, taste, appearance, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff that are more than willing to assist you. Once you enter this tiny establishment, you will be hooked as I was many years ago. Inside you will find an assortment of meats, cheeses, French butter, jams, preserves, cookies, duck rigglets, various pates, sauces, pastries, dry goods, candies, frozen foods (i.e, duck confit, sausages, escargot, veggies, etc.), oils, pastas, canned seafoods (tuna, sardines, cuttlefish...), and numerous seasonal items. Have a look at my photos and you will see how rewarding a visit could be. Highly recommended.”

“We learn so much about the meat processing, healthy farming and "best" cuts of meats are for us each time we go into this small but mighty establishment in North Park. This was a first time my hubby and I actually went to a 'real' butcher shop and were pleasantly surprised by how clean, and expedient the store and the service was and how knowledgeable and friendly "Tony" has been these past two times. I'm sure we will be back as we certainly appreciate paying for the best cuts of meat and enjoying our new carnivore way of eating!”

“The Butchery is what you would think it would be by the name. It’s a butcher with fine meats but they also have a plethora of other things like seafood, groceries, wine, etc. They also have a sit down area where you can order something to eat and sit there to eat. Prices are a bit high on the meats but I suppose it’s just the markup for the areas served.”

The store manager is absolutely amazing, always providing outstanding customer service, and wants to make sure they can accommodate new items that we may want. They have a great selection of meats and chicken and other products such as household, spices, cheese, and more. I highly recommend you check them out!”

“I came in and ordered what i thought was a salad, the lady came out and brought me a sandwich and then i realized i made the mistake of ordering a sandwich, i work in customer service and didnt want to make her job any harder so i decided i was just going to take my item since it was my mistake, she insisted on changing it for me to the salad i wanted so i accepted and she did the credit and charge again, i just finished my salad and it was delicious, my receipt says Leslie so i assume she was the cashier, she was very friendly and patient through the whole process and im truly thankful for that, i didnt get the name of the lady making the salads but it was really good! thank you as well.”
