It seems that they don’t post listing price on many items. Especially Asian stuffs. When asking the price,the boss usually gives you an extremely high price. Not a good experience

I went to Maroufi's to look for Persian rugs. He showed me some of the antique rugs with unusual designs that would be good for my bedroom. After purchasing two rugs I started to look at pieces to put on a table. Maroufi's has a beautiful selection of chandeliers, jewelry, tables, mirrors, and more items than I can count. If you want something unusual for your home this is the place to go .

Mehdi, the owner was very professional and kind when he quoted me on an item I was looking at. He was also very knowledgeable about the item when I was trying to find more information on it. I highly recommend them for their rug cleaning service as well. They did a phenomenal job on my bosses rug after I had brought it in. I highly recommend you stop by for antiques or rugs whether it'd be purchasing or cleaning rugs.

I was referred to Mr. Maroufi to appraise furniture. His knowledge, both the depth and breadth, is unbelievable. Today he came to evaluate four statues for a friend. He knew the statues on sight in the photos. He knew the history of the ownership and where they had been situated. He knows the history of their construction and all (literally) of their details. I am astounded. In addition he is always well dressed and well mannered. A unique standout in today's society. A really remarkable guy.

Nice people & items but prices are full blown retail. If you need a one of a kind item, this is your place but you'll be better served taking your money across the street to the consignment antique store for more bang for your buck & helping to support the local animal shelter.

FANTASTIC COLLECTION of sterling silver, Persian rugs and carpets, porcelain, jewellery, watches, paintings, bronzes, oriental, furniture, lighting, mirrors, sculptures, china etc. Probably the BEST selection of antiques in San Diego and Southern California. The staffs are very knowledgeable and provide the highest service. I will give a 5 star and will recommend this company for appraisal and evaluation service too.
