“We really enjoy living here. It's really quiet, and there's a shuttle that comes every 15 min that goes up to campus. Management is very hands-off (in a good way), and maintenance requests are filled within 24 hours.The biggest cons are that it isn't as well lit as other parts of grad housing and there's regular bike theft and occasional break-ins of first floor apartments. I haven't seen any cars broken into, despite that being a regular occurrence on La Jolla parking garages, but better security would be fantastic. There's also not any AC, which management will say isn't needed because of the "cool La Jolla breeze" despite them having AC units in their own offices. If you get a contract to a unit and you're worried about the heat, keep in mind that units facing southwest are going to be the warmest. Our utility bill is around $125 monthly.”

“Eitol Towers is more than an apartment, it's a lifestyle! The minute you step onto the property, you're greeted by the stunning, ultra-modern architecture. But it's not just about looks – my apartment has massive windows that flood the place with light and offer incredible city views. Plus, the private patio is like having my own outdoor oasis – perfect for entertaining with friends (and soaking up those San Diego sunsets!).And let's not forget the crown jewel – InsideOUT downstairs! It's become my go-to spot for delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. As part of the LGBT community, I especially love the welcoming and inclusive vibe at Eitol Towers. Live here if you want to enjoy a REAL community with character and uniqueness!”

“We just renewed our second year at Metro. This is by far one of the nicer apartment complexes in San Diego that’s remained at least somewhat affordable in comparison.

There was a management change about a month into our first lease and the new manager, Al has been so great at taking care of the property. Gustavo and Casey are also just wonderful and so willing to help anytime we need something!

The apartment spaces are huge! Big kitchens, big bedrooms and big bathrooms.

Washer and dryers are included in every unit.

There are several lounge/community spaces that we use to host guests often—including a rooftop deck with a fire pit.

Even though it’s close to the freeway the windows are triple-paned and it’s much quieter than I thought it would be.

Is it perfect? No. Is anything? We looked around before signing our second lease and we are very proud to still call Metro our home!”

“Canyon Park is a fantastic place to live. The management/office team are a never-ending source of finding and fixing issues. They always follow up with everything. Their counterparts on the maintenance team are few but mighty! They keep things in running order at all times and are always easy to work with. Those are only a few of the reasons I have chosen to live here for about 35 years!”

“It's a good place to live. Rent is low, but place is real good. My rent is $1,208 for a one bedroom apartment. The whole place is being renovated. It's a senior living apts 55+. Everyone is great. Lots of extra things for us. Breakfast and lunch for $1, On holiday's a party is thrown food and non alcoholic beverages. End of the month a party is thrown for all who had a birthday. We have a social worker in the building. I would rate it 5 ?.”
