We tried to order sandwiches today... The person who pretended to be working there didn't speak English. He pointed at the menu, we pointed at the subs we wanted. Then he started putting different ingredients, it was a mess.

Staff tried to do everything to make me not to buy anything from there. They don’t speak English which makes it very difficult to order sandwich. They don’t know the menu.

This is nice market with all the typical stuff plus veggies. And they honey from a local farmer. Only thing is they need to mark items with prices. Most are not marked.

Not very cycling friendly - to put it mildly! Stopped by and bought food and drink. Asked them to top up my cycling bottle but they refused. Won't be back!!

I found this Hidden Gem ? tucked away on a windy mountain road in the middle of nowhere. I recommend the Raisin Muffins. They are moist and delicious

This is one of the greatest roadside markets, fully stocked, homemade fresh, deli sandwiches, plenty of beer and liquor, good, beers, specialty beers, full groceries to stock a village let alone your weekend or week camp trip in the nearby, redwood forest. Friendly owners. Put this on your map of places to go soon.

Looks like under new management since I last visited. No prices on most items, so you know you probably getting ripped off. Questionable quality pizza and chicken wings/nuggets. This all-can-do dude will make you a sandwich, ring you up and possibly clean the place all while you shop. There is non-descriptive seating outside, has chairs and tables. A few parking spots just in front of the door. Good selection and convenient store in the boonies. Didn't see ammo for sale, so cannot comment on safety but would not be surprised. No ads for weed and I didn't ask.

It had been a few months since i last went here. I was excited to get another great sandwich. I walked in at lunch expecting a line, it was dark and eerily quiet. Sanddwich board was wiped off. I asked a guy in the back if they still made sandwiches, he said yes. Was excited for a nice Italian, which was always stacked high. I ended up with a few slices of meat and lettuce. Wow, somethimg once great has deterioted to sll time low. What a shame

THIS PLACE USED TO ROCK!!! It is terrible now!!The guy who owns it should sell it because he obviously doesn't know how to run this particular business. The sandwiches are small, overpriced, and expensive as f***. I paid $40 for two small sandwiches, two SMALL bags of chips, and TWO SODAS. I mean i would understand if the sandwiches were at least HIGH QUALITY, but the meat is old and seems like its not stored properly, and the ingredients just taste disgusting. If you want a bag of chips, some candy or any other convenience store stuff; its perfect. If you want a sandwich, youd have a better time eating throw up. FIX LA HONDA COUNTRY MARKETP.s. at least theyre mean to cyclists

It's ok, limited and pricey, I'd personally drive further for more options.

Omg! You need to try the cookies that are in a small glass case by the register, they're incredible!! Plus, the store has a lil bit of everything, including a deli, great place to stop and relax and have a snack, like one of those cookies!!!

Now that its former owner, an abusive p***** is long gone, this place has been turned around. Good on 'em.

Good service, fresh deli products, homemade and local-made products, make this a place a stop every time I'm in the area. I've had some really good sandwiches from this market, and I haven't been disappointed yet. One of those places that has a little bit of everything, is the way I like to describe it. But, the friendly staff really makes the stop worth while every time...
