“This is nice market with all the typical stuff plus veggies. And they honey from a local farmer. Only thing is they need to mark items with prices. Most are not marked.”

“It's Trader Joe's! Still a great experience. Good prices, terrific staff, high quality products. Biggest opportunity to improve things would be to carry peppermint JoJos all year long. Also, what happened to the little yogurt packs?”

“I LOVE Bianchini’s Market. I know many people are likely turned away by the prices, but if you know what you are looking at, you understand why it costs what it does. This is one of the only markets within a 30 minute drive that carries Alexandre dairy, Rodolphe Le Meunier butter, and kishu oranges, just to name a few things. If you know, then you know.”

“Can’t believe I found this place only recently after living in the Bay Area for a long time. It’s easy to miss because you are either busy driving down route 1, or, after a long curvy road and just can’t wait to hit the beach. This place is a great place to drop by - for a nice drink or bites (the best breakfast braid made by la Honda bakery, available only on Saturday and Sunday), or books from local authors, or even children’s book. They have amazing live band sessions too, it’s just a great place to hang out.”

“This store has amazing fresh produce and Hanna at the food counter is always giving out samples of his freshly cooked food. Everything in that counter is so delicious!!!”

“The garlic artichoke bread is pretty great. The amount of garlic flavoring on the outside can vary greatly, but it's still good even when it's more artichoke bread. Most of the store is expensive boutique style snack and treats for people from over the hill vs a proper grocery store.”

“The store is very well-stocked, clean, and competitively priced. Great selection of snacks, drinks, and miscellaneous pantry and household items. Their deli has tasty sandwiches made with care. The location is super convenient if you're on the West Menlo/Sharon Heights/Oak Creek side of Stanford.Overall, it's a great place to shop and support a family-run small business :)”

“Ah, Trader Joe's in Palo Alto—the kaleidoscopic bazaar where Silicon Valley's brainteasers and code wizards break bread—or rather, snap up gluten-free, organic sourdough! It's the Oracle of Delphi for your dietary needs; a place so charmingly quirky, it makes even the eccentricities of Leiland Stanford seem tame. Ah yes, the founding father of Stanford, the man whose legacy is as mixed as the store's trail mix—innovative yet fraught with murky ethics.Let us also pay homage to that resilient old Asian fellow who briefly exited stage left atop Coit Tower. In him, we see the audacity of Palo Alto—ever striving, even when the universe demands a timeout.Five dazzling stars! For where else but this Trader Joe's can one contemplate the enigmas of Bay Area history while filling one's basket with 'Everything But The Bagel' seasoning? A grocery shopping experience as multi-layered as the city it serves!”

“We stopped here for a quick lunch on our ride through the state parks to Santa Cruz. Super grateful we did. The deli section in this trading post did NOT disappoint! I had the creole potato salad and the biggest tamale(chicken) I've ever had and both were good! Cool stop in the way to seemingly nowhere! Very friendly staff from the people working in the deli, to the person running the register for the trading post! Wish I'd taken pictures.”

“Mollie Stones offers a similar high-quality shopping experience to Whole Foods, minus the pretentiousness. If you're on a tight budget, it may not be the best choice, but if you're in search of top-notch meats, fresh produce, an extensive wine and liquor selection, and exceptional customer service, then Mollie Stones is your go-to destination.”

“Very good deli sandwiches!! I grew up coming to Roberts market as a kid and it's still the same... they always have made me a great sandwich and the only downfall as you have to take a number sometimes there is a long wait... I highly recommend!!!”

“Great rest stop during bike trips. Bike rack right next to the store, water fountain & dish for pupper, tables & seating.Products are reasonably priced, and the Meat Dept. is pristine and well kept. They also carry Jelich Ranch Apple juice which is objectively and consistently the best apple juice I've had in the entire Bay Area.”

“For 50 years Country Sun has been a part of my life. I'll always feel grateful for the kindness of the folks working there and the warm welcoming feeling of the space. My favorite was when they had a sandwich bar. I would always eat the tofu salad sandwich and wash it down with a half gallon of milk. Much love to you all. A reminder that all is temporary. This experience, here and now, is a bus stop.”

“Used to be known as “Whole Paycheck” as prices were very high. But since Amazon bought out Whole Foods prices are reasonable and there is more organic and eclectic choices”

“Best tiny tomatoes I have had in a while. I popped one of these tasty, wee orbs into my tomato hole and proceeded to eat the entire container, which is entirely compostable! Tomatoes are supposed to taste like joy and this farm nails it.”

“Nice produce, helpful staff, and a parking lot on the side. I love to go there when I'm making salsa because they have everything I need, including cilantro, tomatoes, and great chips. Also I love the rice pudding. It's a guilty pleasure!”

“Bought freshly spiced & seasoned (as we waited) Carne Asada Taco meat. Not cheap but beatiful - with guacamole, refried beans and rice it made the best BBQ taco meal I have ever had ?”

“Absurdly overpriced. If it didn’t take meal plan dollars I wouldn’t go there. But does have a huge assortment of snacks (a recent update) despite the weird and depressing atmosphere.”

“I love this market! I find the people are very helpful! I especially love the meat department. Vu and Joe provide excellent service and are really nice people. Great selection. When I needed a rib roast, they will cut the size you need. They also cut off the ribs and tie it back for you. I needed 1" thick flanken short ribs... they will cut it for you too! Their prices are very good and service is excellent. Bd sure to suggest up for the in-store coupons and store specials. Some of the digital coupons prices are amazing. Although I don't live here, whenever I'm in the neighborhood, this is my go to market. Thank you”

“I like this Safeway, it's big and brightly lit and has great variety. They used to have plant-based spaghetti at the Ready to Eat section. They haven't in a while. I wish they did for us vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian folks. No complaints, just a request - please carry plant-based spaghetti again.”

“Always a high quality experience. As a young person I would much prefer having a self checkout option. I wonder if it's a union thing or a space constraint thing.”
