I recently visited this nail salon for a nail service, and overall, it was a positive experience. The salon is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment. The staff was friendly and greeted me warmly upon arrival. My nail technicians did a good job with both my manicure and pedicure. The result was neat and professionally done, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The products used seemed of good quality, and my nails looked lovely afterward.

First timer here, I had a specific design I wanted and you never know if your nail tech can do design so I knew it was a toss up, especially going somewhere new. But WOW she was so spot on to the picture it was literally a replica Im super satisfied LOVE the design and now plan on coming back often!

I wish I could give this place ZERO! This place is beyond DISGUSTING! I came here to save a few bucks.. TOTALLY not worth it. Unity nails down the street charges about same for their services & their customer service is 1000% better! The lady who did my nails has red hair & she is very unprofessional, she kept cutting me, barely cleaned my nails & is horrible at shaping. I literally busted out Yelp and read the reviews to her.. telling her that many people have the same complaints as me she just shrugged it off & made it seem like they were FAKE reviews. Also she kept freaking talking on the phone all loud & to the workers! Literally my mind was spinning. This place is ugly in the outside & inside, not sanitary whatsoever! I'm NEVER coming back! It's not worth it spend the extra money & go somewhere legitimate. I'm surprised they're still in business! NOT JOKING!

Drove 45 minutes for them to have me wait 20 minutes regardless of my appointment. They cut my cuticles so badly they made me bleed. Then they attempted to shape my nails but they were all uneven. The gel polish was lumpy and didn't fully coat my nail. Awful experience.

Love going to Tropical Nails! They do such an amazing job there. Jody is fantastic at nail art. She did my Dia de Muertos design. Tiffany did my daughter's spider design.

Service has gone down here. The ladies seem more interested in watching tv on their phone instead of doing your nails. I was afraid she was going to cut me with the nail drill since she was focusing on her phone so much. They are definitely not experienced in dip powder and left my nails bumpy. They talk way too much to each other in their own language and don't bother speaking to you in English. I'm sorry but I'm a paying customer and would like to come to a nail salon and feel relaxed and taken care of but instead all you hear is women talking non stop here. I found another salon nearby called Seven7 Nails and had a great experience. The lady there is very respectful, well experienced, and pay close attention to your nails while checking in with you to confirm you're happy. Check out Seven7 Nails, 518 W Lambert Rd La Habra!

I'm so disappointed that I paid a visit to this salon. It's everything that makes a bad or mediocre salon, absolutely terrible. This place is the worst for these reasons: 1) During my visit my nail tech probably answered six phone calls. She didn't have an ear piece so she stopped what she was doing to write down new appointments in a huge planner book. I don't think she truly picked up where she left off on my feet and all I could see were that my toe nails were different shapes and lengths. 2) I didn't appreciate the constant laughter and taunting. I felt instinctively that they were laughing at their customers (and probably at me) and not necessarily at a joke. What could be so funny for 45 minutes straight? Unprofessional to say the least. If they were not in fact laughing at me, at any rate, it made for an uncomfortable experience. 3) Because the nail tech was taking phone calls, the services took forever! Not a good use of my time. 4) Unsanitary! At every salon I've visited since the pandemic (or maybe earlier than that), the tech takes out sterilized equipment from a blue sealed bag. This establishment DOES NOT. The equipment used is just lying around from a previous customer. I was mortified. Aren't they in health violation? 4) Super rough technique! The tech sanded down my foot and practically burned me with the abrasion. She also clipped my nail bed so bad it got infected. Now I have to pay a visit to Urgent Care to get this taken care of! 5) Value - not even worth it. Not close. Over priced and unsanitary tools with rude service to boot. I paid $85 for a gel mani pedi without any add-ons. What a rip off. 6) Vibe - dated and dingy. I am kicking myself for coming here. Do yourself a favor and run as far as you can from this place!

I went to get my nails done for first time at tropical nails . I got (gel mani and reg) pedicure. My first impression was that it seems like they talk about everyone that walks in and even laugh. Pretty awkward and uncomfortable. After getting nails done about Four hours later my gel mani started to come off. I went back the next day Sat, and they fixed it. But then a few hours later 5 other gel nails came off. Obviously their product is no good in quality. I definitely don't recommend unless you want to return a couple of times to get gel nails fixed .

It's the 2nd time I come here and both times I've had a bad experience. I decided to come here a second time hoping my first bad experience with them was a miscommunication between the techs on what I requested to be done. The 2nd time here takes the cake. I got my nails done by Tammy who did a horrible job. Pictures say everything. In addition, she was rough and cut me 3 times!!!!!!! I do not recommend this place

I wanted to like this place because of the reviews and good pricing but sadly won’t be returning because the level of attention to detail just isn’t there. I paid $40 for this gel manicure that did not include tip.

This is my favorite nails salon. Highly recommend. I live in Sierra Madre and have tried several other places, but Tropical is tops.

This is by far the best nail shop I've ever been to. Jody has been doing my nails for 8 years and does really intricate designs. If you want something really specific, have time, and a source photo make an appointment with her with a 2-3 hour block of time. All the ladies in here are amazing and you really can't beat the prices.
