So there really four reviews in one here. I go to the store of course but I would also review the gas station, the cafe and the tire shop as though they were separate items. That is not available now so here is my attempt. STORE: ***** Someone mentioned that they like Sam's more than Costco and I wasn't sure until the ability to Scan and Pay. I love that feature so when the wife or someone wants something, like alcohol, where you have to get in line I will only do it when there are no long lines. The products are great so no problems with that here. Oh, and I love that I can add my card to my Apple Wallet. GAS STATION: **** The lines are always shorter here and typically the same price as Costco but this location has no ability for long lines like Costco does so you don't typ get the long lines, when you do; drive away. Also, I have not figured out how to buy gas using the app.CAFE: *** This is a love hate relationship. I love the cafe and their offerings but it just seems that they never have enough staff and I think that makes them a little bitter or just not as friendly. Last week I was here and went to the cafe about 5 minutes to 7 PM and they had someone at the end of the line. I said, "its not 7" but she wasn't going to let me in. Next time you are here count how many people are working the cafe and then compare that to Costco, it will be about half. That's a management problem not a staff problem.TIRE SHOP: *** So I purchased my tires here in the past and a couple of months ago I purchased new tires [all 4] for my car. About two weeks ago I was in the IE and got a 2nd sensor reading that a tire was low. I didn't drive it all the way to La Habra where I purchased my tires and they were able to fix the problem; after a 3.1/2 hour wait. When I asked that store if they rotated the tires they said no to get an appointment for that. Damn I just waited 3.1/2 hours. But I did make an appointment for La Habra and took my car in. I was 1/2 hour early to my appointment because I was on the road and finished early. And then proceeded to wait 3 hours; yes 3 hours to get a rotation. The kid working the register was very apologetic when I went to check up after 2 hours and then again when I picked up my car. He was alone when I went at the 2 hour mark so there was nothing he could do. And there were two other clients trying to price tires so I knew he wasn't going to be touching my car for a while. Again, not a staff problem but a management problem.

At sam's Club gas. And there is nobody here to direct the gas lines. It was all backed up from McDonald's to probably take a picture of this. The iother lanes were not full. Cars just seemed to toward the first lane Emplyee is just standing on their building

Parked the car for pick up and go at 1120 am just for a few items. 1125 done. The guy asked my name instead of asking for ID. I guess that works too. Came inside to do a return, 1127 standing in line at member services. 1133 done.

I already love Sam's club better than Costco. Their food is good, the ambiance is just as wildBut a little less chaotic. Love their self check out lines. The only con is the food court. You can't pre order unless you're at the location. Via the app! But it's all good. I guess. Minus 1 star

I hate this sams club so much because i was in there minding my own business looking at kewl mattresses and then i went to lowe's to look at their kewl mattresses and i came back to shop again at sams and the lady said i couldn't come in. i was mad because i was just in there looking at the kewl mattresses and she didn't want me in there even though i have a kewl membership. I got a berry yogurt. It was kinda good and cool.

Great Sam's Club. Wonderful selection and usually very clean. Staff has helped me find or look up items many times. The app helps as well to check out easily. Wish they had more gluten free/ keto items. Would totally recommend this store.

They have worked to make this a successful Sam's Club. It is for members only and offers a variety of food, household, optical, tire, pharmacy and gas. The prices are competitive. They have a fabulous scan and go option on their app to just scan your items and slide to pay. Then you can show your QR code proof at the exit - no waiting in line.

If you're interested in checking out Sam's Club, you can sign up for a free 24-hour Guest Membership, but a 10% service fee will be added to your total. (Scan & Go in the Sam's Club app isn't available to shoppers with a Guest Membership.) Yelp HQ sent an email that tips are for posting the best times to go or favorite dishes, so I moved this information to a review.

I applied for their membership card yesterday and the person who processed it told me that I have to call a number to get credit thru my email for the $45 gift card coupon for applying into their membership since their register is not functioning well to give instant credit for it( full of excuses). Anyways tried calling the phone number they gave me and it's just a choppy automated voice and only a word of good bye is all you get. Tried several times and not in luck. Sam's club is doing this trick promo to gain customers, I am for sure going to get my money back and cancel my membership.A waste of time. No rating at all, if I have it my way.Also, no one is at their jewelry section to help. You need to call on them for help and they tell you it's on their way, after 15 to 30 minutes wait, I gave up, I could have done my other shopping already.This Long Beach location is worst experience.

Worst experience at the tire center. Matthew was the guy working the cashier and was too busy being rude that he failed to do his job correctly and failed to inform us of important information (keep reading). Went in last week to see if they have tires for my car, was told they need to order them and the tires would be in the following week (this week). I was also told they were going to call me as soon as they received the tires. They didn't call me, I had to call and good thing I did because the tires were already there. Who knows for how long?! When I arrived to get my tires installed I was told I needed an appointment. They informed me it was going to be "a few hours" before they got to my car. It's currently been 2 hours and it looks like it's going to be longer than "a few hours" before they finish installing 2 tires on my car. Highly recommend spending a bit more money and going to a professional tire center.

Thanks to my mom I get to shop at Sam's Club. This is a nice clean location with plenty of parking. The food court makes good pizza. We mostly come here for the snacks in bulk boxes and toiletries. My favorite food item is the frozen teriyaki chicken. Love browsing the children's books and shopping here during the holidays. Love all the self checkout stands which makes checking out a breeze and fun for my kids to participate with scanning items.

I cheated!! I was a Costco member and found a good deal at Sam's and have not gone back to Costco! They honestly offer better options that work for me. I highly recommend

This location has the worst customer service ever. Got a new membership, needed a phisical card and manager tells me to go shop at costco. Seriously? I will def go back to costco no wonder they are better than sams club. Get a diff manqger or teach these people how to work in customers service.
