I just got a Sam's club membership, and I gotta say, the food court is way better than Costco. The pizza is not all soggy and oily, but really tasty. The soda cups and lids are way more sturdy, and I like that they give you straws. The hot dogs are all beef, which costco no longer has. Not sure if it's always like this, but wasn't too busy when we came, only one person in line in front of us. Lunch for both me and my wife for just over 6 dollars, and it tastes great? Yes please!

I have had tire service here before but my most recent visit where Fred was taking care of my car was exceptional. One of the tire pressure indicators was not sensing and I asked if I could have it replaced and if I would have to replace all 4 sensors. Fred tested each tire to make sure that it was fully inflated and then used a meter to determine if in fact there was a sensor that wasn't working. He found the one that wasn't working, looked up the replacement model, and sold me the sensor. I then came back when Matt, who does the programing, was there to program my sensor. Also, I had my tires rotated and at that time a nail was found and they removed it and fixed the puncture. That prevented a future crisis for me. Great service! I also love shopping at this location which usually has what I am looking for and more.

THIS PLACE HAS ROACH PROBLEMS!!! Sams has the worst costumer service. We bought a keter storage box and there were roaches inside! 1 big roach and hundreds of baby ones inside the box! I placed the order online for store pick up. I called this brach all day no one answered the phone! I live 30 miles away so it's quite a drive to go to the store. I called the customer care line, when I finally got a hold of someone the line just drops this happened about twice! First call I was told the branch supervisor was going to call me. 3 days has passed no call. So I called customer line again. I got the usual run around until I asked for the supervisor. They wanted me to take the storage box full of roaches back to the store. Ok....1) do you really think I'm going to put that box back in my car? 2) do you really want the box full of roaches back in your store?! Anyway, the supervisor got a hold of the general manger. We were told that if we just ask for the supervisor names "Samantha" give her the reference number and I'll get the refund. Well..... this was not the case. We went to sams. We talked to a guy named Zachary who gives us the run around. They want us to go through customer care.com for our refund. Umm we just went through this. Customer care told us the branch needs to give us the refund bec this was a store pick up. When we asked for the manger they told us "he's in a meeting" at this point we've all had it with this run around just to get a refund for $100 it's a total waste of our time and energy. This place is filthy and ridiculous. I would not recommend sams to anyone.

My favorite store of them all. I am a loyal and long time shopper of all Sam's Club stores. All stores offer so many useful and handy items in addition to everything I need to meal prep for my work lunch and snacks. As well as family dinners and BBQ's. This store and all others al ALWAYS fully stocked and prices are affordable each and every time I get my gas at this location twice per week and the price I pay is the lowest anywhere. No one offers gas at a mower price than Sam's Club.

This review is specifically for Abraham in the optical department. He is so patient and kind and really took his time to help find the right pair of frames. What really blew me away was when my daughter was getting NO service in the auto department (apparently they saw her and ignored her but helped a guy that walked up behind her). Abraham literally walked over there to be sure she was being assisted. That's going above and beyond. Thank you!

No cars parked in the order pick up area and still took them 20mins. Maybe need to get more employees to service the pick up order area. Instead of them having 3 workers standing at the door checking cards to get in... really

i showed up today and paid for my 350$ of my groceries and the lady in the exit mayra decided to scan all 52 of my items in the cart when the other 7 people in front of me ( and the 8 leaving while i waiting) didn't get there cart fully scanned i feel targeted and harassed by the manager kevin and mayra who accused me of missing 7 items and not paying for them also they made me wait an extra 30 min at the exit just findout i was missing 2 items when everyone else at the store is walking out like nothing with the carts fully packed not getting items scanned this is unfair and a wrong act of treatment toward my family the way you guys handled it was very unprofessional and mayra your attitude is disgusting work on it very very unprofessional

Overall this location sucks Waited over 20 minutes to get gas Slide my car to get told it's expired Yet it was paid last week and I've come many times for gas and done online orders since Associate at the gas area very unhelpful He tells me to inside and figure it out I proceed inside and upon entering find a 10-15 person long line I ask the door greeter if this is the membership line as I have issues I need fixed And he proceeds in a very rude and condescending tone "well yea that's what is says on the sign here" (pointing up on the wall that I can't see from where I'm standing.) That 10-15 person long line was being attended to by only 1 person. No one here could be of assistance one bit to me to rectify my issues after waiting over 20 minute for gas. After many unfavorable trips to this sams club and a few at other clubs I feel I should cancel my membership for a full refund and go to Costco Because I apparently pay $45 to get 0 assistance when I have problems Also tried to call and speak to a Manager Waited over 10 min of the phone ringing to never get anyone on the line

I am a loyal Costco customer, have been for many years. They stopped carrying something family and I love and I heard Sams club carried it, so I walked in one day and got a Sams membership. This Sams club is not crazy busy, I usually come on Saturdays and I am in and out, plenty of parking. Lines are long to check out but self checkout is always a breeze. I love how they have more snack varieties than Costco, way more! This place is snack heaven! Gas prices are a bonus too, usually pretty busy but I go early morning at 7am on weekdays and hardly wait. I do find it annoying they come by and try to get you to fix your windshield chip (if you have one) but aren't too pushy.

I usually like this place. But today it's all about service. A couple weeks back I got an Apple Pencil. I was looking at them while looking at the new IPad Pro. I was just considering buying it. And was shopping around. I told the attendant that I was looking to buy the new IPAD Pro. But not sure if I was going to get one from work. But it was probably going to be the older version. Since I had been off of work a bit. The man said that the IPAD Pro were selling out. And so we're the pencils. So I should get it now before they are gone and have to wait for them to come back. I told them that I wasn't sure that it would be the older one. He told me to get the older one. And if it was the wrong one they would exchange it. He didn't tell me ii only had 14 days. I ended up with the new IPAD Pro but it took longer than 2 weeks. And now they won't exchange it. The manager refused to talk to me face to face. I only got to talk with the return clerk. The return clerk lady was kind. She told me that they don't go returns on Apple products after 14 days. I told her I didn't know about that policy. Since they don't advertise it or tell you when you get it. She then called the manager over the radio. And told him about the situation and that the Apple Pencil was not open He said no. 14 days were up too bad. He wasn't willing to talk to me. And didn't know that I could hear him and so could the other customers behind me. I was only there to exchange a product they still sell at the same price. For something that cost more. I wasn't asking them to exchange it for the same price. I was going to pay the difference. I didn't know that they were this way. Be aware if you shop here.

This review is for many months back. We activated a Sam's Club account because Costco didn't have everything we wanted and we were tired of tagging along and inconveniencing my wife's sisters whenever they went to the Long Beach Sam's. A week after activating the card, we made our first trip to this particular Sam's and got in right when they let the regular members in. They had a pallet of multipack Lysol wipes, which we grabbed 2 of, and went about doing the rest of our shopping. I actually grabbed 3, in case a family member or my wife's coworkers (teachers) needed some, and there were no posted limits. When i went to take one of them back, i noticed a very overzealous employee get into a verbal altercation with a customer and her wheelchair bound mother (i assume) about the Lysol wipes and thought nothing of it. When it came time to check out, this same employee came up to us and was giving us a hard time about only being able to purchase one multipack. Mind you, that by this time, the pallet was already gone. The employee went as far as taking one of the packs and walking off with it to place it in what i would assume is the stock room? At this point we're just dumbfounded, as there were no initial posted limits, and the employee is basically cutting a $15 sale from the store's books, as there is no place to place this item where it wouldnt be questionable or people would fight over it. A week into our membership and our first experience left a sour taste in our mouths. Subsequent trips have fared much better for us, as we haven't ran into this person again, and Costco wouldn't have treated people like that. The store is very clean and well maintained, and has a solid system, especially for those who do mobile orders. Big suggestion: build a wall around the tires, the rubber smell is very overwhelming when exiting the store and could cause a headache to a very sensitive person.
