I got my nails done in Korea and they were pretty thick, had lots of charms (both big and small) and had builder gel on it. When I first walked in to ask if I could get my nails removed, both the front desk lady and the nail tech kept doubting me and thought my nails were extensions and even thought I kept saying they were my real nails. When the lady started on my nails, she grabbed pliers and attempted to yank off the charms. I immediately expressed that it hurt, so she stopped yanking and proceeded to file. As she filed my nails, she was extremely abrasive and pressed down really hard on my nails. It was extremely painful and uncomfortable to sit through as she put so much pressure with a powerful e file. On my left ring finger, I had a metal charm that was pretty big in size. Since she failed to remove it with a plier, she began to aggressively file it down. She put so much pressure on the charm and filed on it relentlessly in hopes of it coming off, that I felt that my nail was burning due to the heat and friction of the filing. Although I have a high pain tolerance, I had to withdraw my hand and hold my finger because of the pain and to relieve the pressure. She then got upset and told me that she couldn't use her pliers to take it off because I was in pain, but that if she filed lightly like I requested, the charm wouldn't come off. She continued to file and it finally came off after the horrible experience of my nail throbbing. She then buffed my nails ver aggressively. There were deep scratches on my natural nail and obvious signs of damage. She was even buffing parts of my nail (my nail beds/cuticle area) that were grown out and didn't even have gel polish on it. As she buffed, I told her not to touch my ring finger anymore (the one she made my finger throb by filing harshly) and she listened and used a hand file instead. She complained about Korean nails/manicures lasting longer, but being more damaging because it is harder to remove. She said that American gel manicures come off super easily. I learned my lesson about coming to normal nails salons that cannot cater to higher quality / thicker manicures. She definitely didn't know how to remove my nails or deal with them properly, especially since the charms were secured on my nails so well. I honestly couldhve done a much gentler job at home with my own e file. I did pay $15 instead of $10 because I had charms on my nails. The quality of this experience was simply not worth the money and I would've rather paid the same amount at a place that can remove my nails without damage and an abrasive handle on my nails. Also, while I don't know the name of this nail tech, I cannot speak for the others because they may have a much higher quality or service.

The staff is friendly, really good with unique designs and price are good. Did not give 5 star because sometimes I’ve had to hold the UV light while getting my nails done.

I asked for a dip manicure and just got color thrown on top my nails, and not even the right color. !! Very sloppy job, the lady whom I believe is in charge only spent 10 minutes on my nails. They look horrible !! I will never come here again.

Unlike other nail salons, they really take their time and care about you and if you like the color. I didn't feel rushed or felt "bad" about asking about certain colors or asking them to look at other colors because they give off such a friendly vibe. I can tell that they care for their customers and every loves this salon cus as soon as they opened, it was a packed house! Really glad I came here and will definitely be back. Oh also, it was my first time and I didn't know that they preferred cash only for tips but Wendy was so sweet and said don't worry about it and just come back next time. Luckily, I was still able to tip her but how sweet and thoughtful is she!
