Simple visit to Lowe's La Habra Monday night turned into a nightmare! Couldn't use my Apple Pay at the register nor @ customer service issues on their end. I have the $40 solar panel and was told to use the online app to purchase with Apple Pay. The transaction went thru in seconds then they couldn't release the product due to system limitations? I spent a hour on the the phone with Lowe's corporate no one cares about customers no longer! Beware I have to wait til Saturday to pick up :(

Came in to pick up an assembled Blackstone 32" grill that I ordered the previous day and confirmed pickup that morning. Took 25 min. for the associate to bring the grill to the front of the store. After my personal inspection of assembly it was clear that they had simply pulled the floor model from apparent dust accumulation and paint nicks even though I ordered a new assembled unit. After asking an associate, I was told that I was wrong and I was given the correct grill (without manual or grease trap) because he claimed that he was the one that pulled that grill from the back. 45 min later, at a total of 1.5 hours I finally received a different (and the correct unit) from the same guy who said the dusty floor model was my grill. Overall, the store associate was unaware of what was going on at best and dishonest at worst. TLDR; if you order a grill, then it's less hassle to assemble yourself. Customer service was poor and disorganized. I will not be back.

Jeff in plumbing department was very helpful in providing advice in repairing my water line to my refrigerator that stopped working. Thankfully, the only thing that needed to be replaced was the braided water line hose

Worst customer service in tools and plumbing department. Tool department if I was a man the tall guy would help since I'm a woman he looked past me and helped a man, knowing I had been waiting for him.

I recently had an experience with Lowe's that I feel compelled to share, as it highlights some serious issues with the delivery process and customer service. Upon purchasing a refrigerator from Lowe's, I was informed that while the delivery window was between 8 AM and 8 PM, a specific time could not be guaranteed. This was surprising to me, especially after making such a significant purchase. However, I made a specific request for a post-4 PM delivery due to my work schedule. Despite this, I received a call at 8 AM on the scheduled day of delivery, which was inconvenient and contrary to my request. After rescheduling, there was further miscommunication regarding the delivery date. When the delivery finally took place, the delivery personnel were unprepared to handle the installation, stating they couldn't lift the fridge over my peninsula countertop. This was despite my offer to assist. I was then informed by their supervisor that a four-man team would be dispatched the following day. However, when I reached out to Lowe's customer service to express my concerns, I was met with a lack of understanding and empathy. A warehouse worker named Luisa informed me that they don't lift any appliances at all and suggested processing a refund. This policy seemed inconsistent and arbitrary, especially when considering the installation of other appliances like dishwashers or stoves. The entire experience was frustrating and time-consuming. I had to rearrange my schedule multiple times, move furniture and items from my old fridge, and then put everything back without the new appliance. The lack of clear communication, inconsistency in policies, and the dismissive attitude of certain staff members made this a very unsatisfactory experience. I hope Lowe's takes this feedback seriously and considers making improvements to their delivery and customer service processes. Customers should not have to endure such inconveniences, especially after making significant purchases.

This is special recognition for service way above and beyond normal. I needed a couple of dozen railroad ties for a retaining wall project and this store is one of few that carry them in stock. Railroad ties weigh between 150 and 180 pounds each, so picking up a load of them is no easy job. I was very lucky to find Lisa, a very helpful Lowe's employee. She has helped me each time I have gone back for another load of these monsters. Without hesitation, she always manages to find a forklift and get to work helping me. She always to move some other items out of the way and has worked out a plan to load these into my trailer easily. She has put in some heavy work on some of our hottest California days, never complaining or shying away from the job. This is one committed employee, and Lowe's has a real treasure in her. I wish she worked for me! Thank you, Lisa, for your helpful spirit, your refreshing attitude, and a quick sense of humor too. You're the best!

We have been looking for a new washer for my 90 year old M-I-L. She is on a fixed income so every penny matters. We finally settled on one and looked around for the best package (price, delivery, set up, haul away). Home Depot and Lowes were the same price. Best Buy was $20 less. HD and BB both had free delivery and $50 to haul away the old washer. At Lowes I talked to a very nice young lady about the charges. She said, and I quote: "if you buy the washer, and the new hoses, the haul away is free". So I asked point blank, so $548 plus $37 (hoses) $585 plus tax? Yes. Great. Even though they are $20 more than BB, with the $50 haul away savings we saved $30 for my M-I-L. Sent my M-I-L down the next day, with my wife, to make the purchase. Same girl said Nope, that's not the deal. So I can only assume SHE FLAT OUT LIED TO MY FACE. Had I been there at time of purchase we would have walked out and went down the street. We did go to HD to buy the other 3 things we needed. So I encourage you to go anywhere else to buy your appliances because at this store they will tell you anything to get the sale. If you do go there, get your price in writing. (her name isn't important, but she was the main character in Bewitched)

I am used to really poor service at this Lowe's until yesterday when I met Crystal. I was buying a very large plant and she insisted on helping me to the car with it. I have been here countless times to buy large items. The one time I asked for help the young man told me "It was not his department" and got back to staring at his phone. I even made a return trip today to purchase a patio sofa I had seen yesterday. I carried it by myself to the register where a group of associates were chatting. One of them named Gil was laughing about a customer who asked advice about planting a hibiscus and he gleefully told her to "google it". Such a shame Crystal was not there because I wanted to thank her again for being the best thing that Lowe's La Habra has going for it!

I just spent 1500.00 on a refrigerator for my grand daughter and so I was waiting for the next available person to help. A guy named Ted or something similar came up and said have you been helped I said no he said can I help and I said yes your my guy nothing derogatory at all and with a happy heart when he said I'm no one's guy my pronoun is person and you can address me as so... so I kept my composure and said my wife is right here let's get her and he said I already asked her and she said she didn't need my help and so I looked at him in an angry voice and said well she needs your help now I was very ver upset. I went to front of the store and asked for the manager her name is unknown but they have two managers one male one female so she said she didint have time for me. Horrible store now I will Be calling corporate.

My wife and I purchased a Titan Security Screen door; it is really sleek looking and has a three-latch locking mechanism for solid security. Tony, the associate at the La Habra store, was very helpful. However, after we ordered the security screen door, that's when the comedy of errors began. We first ordered the door on April 16th; it wasn't installed until today (June 14th)-- almost two months later. Our first install appointment did not go well because the door handle did not come with the screen door packaging; they lost the door handle (this occurred at the store). We tried getting a second door handle at the La Habra store, but they were out of the one we originally ordered; we had to drive to the Puente Hills store to get the same one. Setting up a second installation appointment was a nightmare; we tried contacting the La Habra store, but no one was manning the Security Door-Window section of the store (no one answering the phone). The trouble with Lowe's is that you're dealing with a middle man (extra people to call). The second install went very well; the main installer really took the time to show us how to unlock and lock the security screen door; one would think it is simple, but it is not. Overall, if we had to do it all over again, we would go with a company that does both- sells the door and installs it--take out the middle man (Lowe's).

I went into Lowe's before work with a few minutes to spare and tried looking around for what I needed. Eventually I had to leave to get to work on time so I placed an online order for pickup. I am not joking this is the fastest online pickup i've ever seen! I placed an order & 2 minutes later got a message that it was in a locker & ready for pickup.

Yesterday I decided to check out the houseplants at this Lowe's. It is close enough for me to walk to and it was a sunny beutiful day - perfect for hanging out in the outdoor plants section! Am I glad I did, for multiple reasons. First of all, the houseplant prices are dirt cheap - get it?? Heh heh. I mean, unbeliiiiievably inexpensive compared to the local plant shops I had been going to. And they have annnny plant you could want - ferns, palms, succulents, cacti - you name it. The BEST part of this location, however, is you're gonna run into Crystal. And you WANT to; you NEED to. I have neeeeever met ANNNNYOOONE on Planet Earth who knows as much about plants as Crystal. See, she ISN'T there staring blankly at her cell phone as you try to get her attention. Collecting a paycheck. Nope. She ENGAGES. Immediately. With endless reams of knowledge about a subject near and dear to her heart - green stuff! I picked her brain for well over 30 mins, soliciting her advice about allll the plants I am interested in, and even about the plants I DIDN'T KNOW I was interested in. If you DON'T have the proverbial green thumb, Crystal is your expert. If you DO, ditto. You'll never meet a more personable, knowledgeable and chill plant expert. Pluuuus, she gives KILLER movie recs! Go see Crystal at this Lowe's. You'll THANK me!
