Upon calling this place and speaking with Hassan regarding an engine swap, I decided to give this shop a try. I AM ABSOLUTELY EXTREMELY HAPPY I MADE THAT DECISION!!! These guys had my engine swapped in no time and everything runs beautifully. No more shakes, no more noises, NO MORE STRESS! I cannot say enough about the relief that I feel knowing these guys took care of me and my car and knowing I can safely be on the road again. I have a newborn baby, so knowing my family is safe is of great importance to me, and Hassan and the guys at JDM Pro were able to provide me with that sense of security. The customer service was excellent, Hassan was very communicative and friendly, the mechanics were there to answer any and all questions I had, and they even showed me what went wrong with my original engine. Not only did I receive peace of mind, but I also picked up a little educational information at this shop. I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone who may be shopping around and reading these reviews. Look no further, this shop is where it's at. Thanks Hassan. Thank JDM Pro. You guys are amazing!

Jose and his guys took good care of me. Dropped my car off on a Monday. New engine installed by thursday. i called around and these guys gave me the best price for a 2.5L for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. Labor and engine cost think i really got a fair price. Its only been a few days but so far so good. Ill update if anything changes.Service: Engine repair

I had my 2011 Prius engine replaced a few weeks back by JDM Pro. After a week the Check engine light came on, so I went to Autozone to have it checked. The prognosis said it was the ECT sensor that was malfunctioning. At that time I called this shop and spoke to a person name Hassan. He was by far the Rudest and most Cunning person I ever met in my life. He outright refused to admit that it had anything to do with the engine they had put on. Furthermore he said he would charge extra to fix it. I went to the shop to have them fix it anyway, there was this mechanic Serjio who was a very professional and kind gentleman he not only replaced the ETC sensor but also didn't charge me for it. Serjio said it should have been installed correctly to begin with. The story doesn't end here, after I got home I started receiving harrasing text messages from this fellow Hassan.When I spoke to him over the phone, he was extremely unprofessional and rude.He said if I didn't pay him he would void the 3 month warranty of parts and labor of the engine.I would never ever recommend anyone to go to this place to get humiliated and disrespected like me .Services: Transmission

In March, my water pump blew and caused damage to the engine of my 2007 Lexus Rx350. The cost to repair it was extremely high so I looked into an engine swap, and this is where I found JDM Engine Pro. Since the car had just gone over 100k miles they suggested replacing the spark plugs, thermostat, seals, and tensioner pulley- along with a new water pump. I got all that done plus a Japanese built engine installed with about 50k miles on it for FAR LESS than it would've cost just to repair the engine alone (plus my original engine had the dreaded timing cover seepage). I've driven 4k miles now after the swap with no issues whatsoever... It drives like a new car! The only reason JDM Pro doesn't get 5 stars is because the shop's appearance leaves something to be desired. It looks messy and could use some shoring up. That alone almost caused me to turn around and leave initially but I'm so glad I didn't.

This shop has the best manager in the state. Sergio is knowledgeable, professional, personable and more importantly a straight shooter. Exceptional service and efficiency. Parts and workmanship are all top notch.

Back in 2018 came to Jdm engine pro looking for VG30DE for my 300ZX/Z32 just my luck they had one at the back, I had them do compression tested all of the 6cyl. in front of me all in all was great and was in great condition and clean engine , so I give them a deposit then next day I pick up the engine give them the rest of the money ,next day took off the one side of valve cover to see the condition of cams I was amazed that the engine was so clean no brown bunt oil build up If I get another engine I recommend to get from these guys.

Do not buy anything from this place complete waste of time! I order my transmission Installed transmission had whine and hard shifting called them let them know the issues I was having. After video they instructed me to remove it and send it back along with core transmission. They agreed to send me a different transmission from another location. I marked transmission and sent it to them. waited a week for them to get it then they let me know that different transmission was on the way. Received the transmission and the marks I made on the bad transmission where on the different transmission clearly they try to pull a fast one. I called them and they try to tell Me the owner opened up the transmission and fixed whatever was wrong with it. This company is a complete waste. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOME WHERE ELSE.Service: Transmission

Asked about machining heads on my 90s Japanese car (jdm engine work) and they said no there's no room to park it on their lot. I said no problem do you have any recommendations of shops in the area that would be able to and they said "no". Not sure which part of that is pro or expert... Be aware of the character of person or company you're going to give hundreds of dollars to.

Save yourself the hassle , this place lacks all customer service , needless to say I am three transmissions in and my vehicle still not running , the way they handle issues from their product is horrendous , I've never seen such passive aggressive customer service before , I have a defective transmission and no refund at this point. Spend the extra few dollars and find someone that will assist you and not deflect the situation. Avoid at all costs.Update 03/23 they had me tow the vehicle and forcing me to pay them to install third transmission, tow truck driver is there and they're telling him he cannot leave vehicle. Left vehicle anyway now they're not answering there phones , and threatened in their last statement that my car will be towed out at my expense. You know who I can't remember who I spoke to but he was really really helpful. I don't have a tuner car. I was looking for an alignment for a lowered vehicle, my C-5 Corvette, a buddy said contact JDM see if they may have a recommendation sure enough. They gave me the number to 714 tire they do lower vehicles alignment thanks guys!

Purchased a used transmission from JDM was told all transmissions come in less than 60k miles , these looked very rustic and dirty, either way its used , first transmission was defective and not shifting , nonetheless sometimes that's expected, it took over a week for JDM to agree to replace it , it was like pulling teeth. JDM swears by their product and states no way it was defective, after agreeing to pick up another transmission I stated I cannot pay labor a third time if the second transmission was no good , JDM stated oh well. And offered to install it for 1200.00 . You guessed it seconds transmission has no reverse, according to JDM it is installer error, after consulting 4 different transmission technicians , they all concluded its a faulty transmission. Nonetheless I still don't have a good transmission and JDM is offering a refund but will not offer me my core back or any remedy for this mishap . They might have some good products but customer service alone is not worth coming here. I will pay a few extra dollars for my convenience and for customer service when things don't go as planned. Save yourself the hassle.
