I used this towing service as part of my AAA membership and had a 5 star experience. It was a busy holiday weekend but they were able to swiftly give me an ETA and even a phone call 10 mins prior to arrival. The driver was nice and knowledgable. Helped me so much. Of course nobody wants to have to use towing services but am happy for the service I got!!

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received from a company. I do not take the time to write these reviews because it's usually not worth it, but this company is a joke. They have unprofessional and rude people willing to risk the lives of children by speeding in a kid zone and refusing service after THEY improperly sent the wrong type of tow truck. Their driver was a joke and not worth even trying to explain anything to as he looked liked he was just released from prison. He literally threatens me and sped off in a school zone. Avoid this company at all costs. Included the license plate of the criminal who sped off in front of a school.

Avoid this place by all means. Because today’s tow truck driver gave me an attitude I sent him away. Then they (Golden Bear) reached out to AAA and said my car was too low even though this same company (Golden Bear) towed my car twice before. After a phone call to AAA and some convincing by me I was able to get them to send Expedite tow out of San Diego to me. I drove my car onto the flatbed with plenty of clearance and they towed my car with zero issues. These people at Golden Bear are brutal

I had to use Golden Bear Towing in the early morning hours. AAA dispatched them to me. My car died suddenly, luckily I was able to get to the side of the road. The tow truck driver was named Eric, he was driving a flatbed. He examined the car and diagnosed alternator failure. There was no chance we could repair it on site. He towed me to my local shop and unloaded it on the street. The whole ordeal only took an hour. He offered to give me a ride home, I decided to just run home instead. He was a friendly and skilful man. He was correct in his diagnosis, my mechanic is installing a new alternator as we speak. I am surprised by all the bad Google reviews. I think most people that require towing services are in grumpy moods. I am not, so it goes.

I needed towing service in the middle of the night, when i was assigned to Golden Bear Towing i read the reviews they were not too good, buy they actually exceeded my expectations.Excellent service, friendly staff, forgot to ask his name but very kind and helpful.Will definitely use them again when need it.Service: Car towing

My fiancé & I locked ourselves out of the car. We called AAA they contacted Golden Bear towing and they responded very fast! Super polite & respectful towards the car , being careful not to damage anything.Unfortunately we didn’t get the young gentleman’s name but thank you so much for getting us back in our car in less than 20 minutes!! We are so grateful

I wish I can put 0 stars they worst service I ever experienced I used to through AAA and they cancel on me without notification made me loose an appointment and when I reached they hang up on me refusing service, cancel on me twice very disrespectful and unprofessional don’t use their service they are bad

Very bad experience with this company. Technician came and said he did not have tools and would send someone else to service my battery. After waited for 3 hours I called and the dispatcher/manager either did not pick up the phone or simply hung up. Very rude!Service: Battery service

Worst tow service ever!!! Needing your vehicle towed means your having a pretty bad day, the last thing you need is a rude driver making your day worse. Keneth has got to be the rudest tow truck driver I have ever had to deal with. Seriously.....avoid this company! Especially if you are a lady and it's late at night! If reffered to them thru AAA I recommend you ask for another company.
