The first time I went to Costco to get new glasses, the optometrist was nice and friendly. The optical department was crowded, but the staff were also friendly. I liked it.

As always, quality service at the Costco frame & lens counter! Huge shout out to Maria who was friendly & knowledgeable, she knew exactly how to fix my glasses and I was in & out in a flash! Thank you Maria!

All the complaints I heard were about the Optometrist. I came with prescription in hand and only used the Optical Department which is completely separate from the Doctor.

The worst experience ever! Gizelle or Gisselle the receptionist insisted that I arrive with my kids 15 min early only to shut the door in my face because she needed to eat her sandwich. We let her know we were there 15 early as requested and her response "well I'm on lunch so we start at 1:30pm." slamming the sliding door in our faces. I filled out the kids intake forms and specifically did not mark the part about approving extra charges so they would ask me. Well after the appointments I get a $60 extra charge for a test I did not approve or request. When asked why this was done without our permission her response was "you should've been in there with your child" like they asked my 14 year old for permission. I wasn't in there because we got the door slammed in our faces nor were we asked to be in the tiny exam room. It gets better...I asked for a copy of my intake form and she said she said I was not allowed access to the form I filled out an hour before because it was a HIPAA violation. Providing me with my own medical records is a HIPAA violation in some medical offices now apparently. She had no idea what she was doing and definitely no people skills. Will not go there again. Luckily Costco management handled it like pros so while I do love the store and will continue to visit it, the optical leaves much to be desired and we will never go back. I will definitely be looking into filing a HIPAA complaint. I am stating publicly that I did not fill out any authorization to additional charges in case that intake form gets altered. If it does, it is fraud and I will seek legal advice.

The coldest receptionist I’ve ever encountered. The doctor is even worse. This clinic is very disorganized. Will definitely not come back to this clinic.

Young lady spent a hour with my mom and I.Just repairing our glasses. She did not chargeus for doing that but we both we back soon and I need three pairs just my self.

Save your money and don't order contacts here, i was told they would take 3-8 business days and i waited 3 weeks with no update. I called and they still had no clue on where they were. I filed my refund and will go elsewhere for my contacts.

Think. About twice. Optometrist very dismissive, not attentive to your needs. I know I need prescribed eyeglasses, she said your okay. What?? Won’t come here again. Now, I have to another optometrist, to get another vision test.

Useless to me if they won't update lenses of glasses more than 2 years old. Built in obsolescence.

I felt the doctor didn't really listen to what I was saying and totally blew me off. The receptionist was very "matter of fact". No personality from either the doctor or receptionist.
