“My husband and I have been going to this toy store for a bit over five years now. The owners have given us so many great suggestions for our niece and nephew. We love how much effort they put into decorating their store and knowing what’s popular for every age. They have been wonderful people to get to know through the years. And now that we’re expecting a kid, we cannot wait to get even more things from them! Also, their book selection is getting better and better — I love that they have a wide selection of bilingual books!”

“I love Bookman! As a former librarian and avid reader, this place is truly the best! I will reach out on a limb and say that parts if not most of Orange County is lacking quirky and artsy charm but this place is a hidden (strictly by location), gem! I love how the books are curated by placards based on fun categories and the owner became a friend when I lived there and is a lovely, laid-back and passionate human!
Mostly used books with some new ones featured as well and the selection is excellent! Bonus points that they focus local artists and have poetry readings!
I moved to NYC where there as one can imagine a wide plethora of incredible indie bookstores (doesn't feel this way in most of California), but I truly miss Bookman and it will always remain in my heart.
Support them if you know what's best for you (haha), go to their events, look at the wonderful art and sign up for their email newsletters as they often send 20% (I believe) coupons off which is a great help.”

“Amazing Islamic book selection, and whatever they don't have, they don't mind ordering and shipping to you. I drive all the way from Chico CA (9 hours away) just to get my books from here. They have everything from kids educational books for parents, or series for teacher, to serious texts for college level Islamic studies.

“I have been to Barnes and Noble hundreds of times and I never get tired of it.
What makes this Barnes and Noble so unique is that this store has their very own Starbucks Cafe. Unlike most B&N stores, this one has Cupcakes, Mac and Cheese, Cookies, Grilled Cheese and Chocolate Brownies just to name a few. The store also has amazing drinks like this limited edition drink that is shown below.
I like how the store renovated. Looks like if the store has just opened for the first time.
The staff members were nice and resourceful. Never get tired of seeing them.
The book section is nice and labeled. Easy to find books based on your personal taste.
The downside is that the renovation has limited the spaces for physical media, vinyls and CDs. For example, there were tons of Criterion movies back in the day. Now, it’s just limited to one section.
Overall, this B&N store is amazing and never gets old.”

“It’s been many a years since I’ve visited the hideout since being away at battle. Upon walking back in recently I was greeted with warm smiles and even some fresh crab cakes and milk. The atmosphere was magical and the men helping were helpful with their exquisite help. The place was clean, the comics were vast and plentiful and the toilet worked as expected. I knew I would leave with a plentiful bounty and at least 3 more crab cakes. The owner Glynness was dancing and singing to the other guests and they tossed roses and gold coins at her feet and Barrack Obama was there. I was unable to retrieve an autograph due to the excessive line but the simple glance she gave me very well may change the course of my life. The only negative I have to say was that her husband Jonathon was not there because I waited years to see this dashing man carved from marble. I needed to tell him that his workout advice sent me tumbling down a trail of muscle and attention from the lady’s I’ve never seen, if it were not for him I wouldn’t have been able to save all those babies on that plane. To say the hideout changes lives isn’t enough, I vote the Comic Book Hideout for president 2024.”

I’ve been many times and they have foreign books all the time. Recently, I went during a fire sale, where they sell used books very cheap. I got books on drawing, culture, comics, etc.. it was honestly a great bargain. Support a local business and stop on by!”

“Haven't been to Barnes& Noble in years! I didn't think it would be busy considering all of the digital books available these days. But this place was slammed. They don't match any other stores so I would recommend searching Amazon and eBay before purchases.”

“I visited Titan Shops frequently when I attended CSUF. They have a wide selection of Titan merchandise, including shirts,hats,mugs, and jackets. The service here is pretty good as well. It's located near the TSU and Titan Walk. If you are looking for a place to buy CSUF merchandise at a good value with friendly employees, this is a good place to visit”
“Where can I begin? Math has always been a struggle for us, my daughter never enjoyed math. I knew we needed to find help for her. Since joining with Mathnasium we've noticed that she has gain a whole lot of confidence when it comes to math. She enjoys coming to Mathnasium every week and continues to strive to do better every time. They offer a great reward system which gives her the incentive to reach her goals. The staff is also wonderful, my daughter has nothing but great things to say about them. Judy and Raven are fantastic, and they will keep you posted throughout our child's progress. I see such a big difference in my child, she has a totally different attitude towards math now. Thank you Mathnasium!!”
“The most beautiful Catholic Store I have ever been! I felt as if the Holy Spirit guided me to this store to find the necessary the Rosary and St. Michael statue. The lady who works behind the register is genuinely the most God-spirited woman I met who went out of her way to help me out to find anything I needed, she even waived off the price for the Magnificent Book. I don't agree with the other reviews saying its "one of the best," the store is just too small to entertain that idea. Sakura Anime Toys just a few miles away is a better option. However, one of the main reasons why I liked the store is the pricing. Nothing there was overpriced, everything was reasonably priced and possibly under priced. I would return to this location.”

“Me & my friend wanted to find a place to study / rehearse a speech & found this library near us through Yelp. It's super clean, quiet and the front staff was so nice and helpful letting us reserve a room for two hours for free with no need of a library card. Looking at the beautiful building it's a great use of our tax dollars to be funded here. Maybe it's because it's a Saturday but it was perfect & peaceful studying here. Parking is plentiful in an underground garage.”
