I was way too excited to look at their large selection that I completely forgot to take pictures! Absolutely love their wide range of plants. They have flowers, fruit trees, succulents, indoor plants and trees, bonsais and Im sure a ton more that we didnt look at. We came mostly to look for some indoor houseplants and left with 3! I have never owned any plants so I was completely clueless in what would be a good starter plant. Thankfully when you check out, the cashiers will tell you more about the plants and how to care for them. Granted the guy explaining to us wasnt very clear, but you get a gist of it. They have their own parking lot and carts to help with carrying all the plants you plan to get. I wish I could leave more helpful tips but I have no green thumb experience to give or compare

After our local nursery closed, we decided to venture out to surrounding areas and were very happy to find this gem. Armstrong has a great selection of not just flowers and plants for the garden, but furniture and other decorative items for your yard and/or garden. The customer service is awesome too and I love how easy it is the get advice and find help vs. larger retailers with garden sections. We will definitely be back soon!

First time at Armstrong. My sister is redoing her backyard and is buying a lot of plants and other yard stuff and decided to stop by and get a gift card and a Xmas type shrub. Found a rosemary butter plant in shape of a Xmas tree..and even got a few things for my small yard..nice variety and a lot of planters of all types and shapes..never knew that much existed...very well kept up and I did not see any plants that looked in bad shape..all beautiful..will be back

I love this place. Always fun to walk around and see all the different plants, pots, fountains and other stuff. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Prices are higher than your local gome improvement stores but I feel you get what you pay for. Armstrong's plants seem healthier, bigger blooms and stems. Anyhow, love that this place is available and enjoy shopping there.

I love Armstrong! They are more expensive than Home Depot, but they tend to have healthier plants, more knowledgeable staff and a better variety of plants. I especially love the selection of California native plants! We recently ripped up our front lawn and plan to put in native plants that can survive the drought and the heat. I was at Armstrong looking to see the plants in person and was surprised at how many they had -- Probably one of the best selections I've seen outside of nurseries that specialize in native plants. They also have a good selection of vegetables in the spring and a good selection of organic fertilizers.

This place is much bigger than it looks and has a great selection here! Prices are kind of high but great quality. You par for what you get though and they do have amazing plants

Great selection of Pesticide Free Native California plants! . It's very hard to find nurseries that have a good selection of native plants and seeds. La Habra Armstrong stands out in its amazing selection of native plants and even trees , I was able to pick up a young sequoia which are some of the most famous redwoods in the world. The best part is majority of the plants are never treated with synthetic pesticides or fertilizers so you can be confident wherever you choose to add you're plants. I really notice the life in my garden enjoying the native plants far more than non-native. This has encouraged me to do as much native as I can, not to mention its unique from the boring desert non-native landscapes I see mostly around Orange County and it's already water-wise since it's native! I've bought thousands in native plants from here even some native strawberries which are amazingly sweet. They often have stuff at different stages 1-3 year old plants which gives you plenty of selection based on the space you have available. Can't recommend this spot enough!.

Great customer service. We ordered some plants online and they called us to verify and said our crook neck squash was out of stock but they would give us an organic plant for the same price.

This place is so much better than your big box stores. For one, the plants are much healthier and you can find some varieties that are not available at those regular stores. Second, the staff is definitely more knowledgeable as well as helpful. This place is a little out of our area but I don't mind making a trip to come here. It is worth it. I also come for their selections of seeds.

The LA Habra store in now stocking substantially more Cal Native plants. I'd say increased stock and variety 4x from last year. Jason's the person to see for help with natives. He's very knowledgeable, helpful, and is willing to spend the time with you to make sure the plants you like will work well in your yard.

Best Native plant selection amongst all the Armstrong that I have visited! We really need more of that since the weather has been really dry for the past couple years, with water restrictions making it hard to keep many non-natives happy. Have some rare hard to find varieties: ribes sanguineum, Dudleya viscida, fremontodendron, matilija poppies, and a CEANOTHUS arboreus (my absolute favorite native flowering tree). The person who works there- Jason, is really knowledgeable about plants in general but also really passionate about having plants that are sustainable for our socal landscape. Love to visit every once a while in the weekends, hopefully this is a long term trend.

Love, love, LOVE that this Armstrong carries some California Native plants. I have always been into plants, and for years, Armstrong didn't have a good selection. Now that more and more people are getting introduced to California Natives, it's important that the larger chains carry some selection. I hope that Armstrong continues to get more and more native plants in their nurseries at _all_ their centers. The market for native plants is only going to grow more. I came in yesterday and today and bought about 8 different native plants and they mentioned they'll get more next month. I still bought some non-native fruits for potting, so it seems important to continue to be diverse, but I wouldn't be mad if 50% of the garden was only native plants :P I hope they have more annuals during the summer. It'll be great to go back in a few weeks when they have some more things in stock. Everybody working was also very helpful and knowledgeable (even about native plants!) My only issue was that the selection of native plants were still kind of limited. I asked if there would be any other Armstrong's that carry other native plants and they mentioned that is not necessarily the case but that I could try. But this Armstrong was still good.
